Releasing 02/11/12 is the Nike Black History Month Collection seperate from the other BHM Pack shoes announced earlier on Sneakerfiles. Comprised of an Air Force 1 Low Premium, Air Max 1, Wmns Blazer Mid and a Huarache Free Run as Well as some nice extras to go with the collection. These should be available at select NSW Retailers come February 11th.

Originally said to be a 1 of 1 sample for Gentry at the Sole Collector X Penny Event, the Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” now has a confirmed release date, The Date set is February 25th, 2012.

The shoe has a Galaxy Outerspace Foamposite upper, with a black nubuck eyestay finished off with a iced out sole.

If you were watching last night’s NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma Thunder, you might have noticed a sparkling Gold shoe on “Sugar Ray’s” feet. Last Night Ray Allen was wearing a PE Air Jordan XII in a Black/Metallic Gold like colorway dubbed the “MLK Day”.  Stitched on the side heel was “Sugar Ray”. There is no word if these PE’s will be releasing but keep it locked on SneakerFiles for any future info.

Dennis of Paper Crown Gallery has created some artistic pieces on one of his favorite sneakers, the Air Jordan V.

The ‘Stinky Sneakers’ gallery showcases five awesome images of the AJ5 mixed with a little graffiti, oil paint, spray paint and artistic flare. Each image comes with a custom Black Top frame to bring it all together, something that sneaker enthusiasts and hoop players alike with appreciate.

Joe Buck created some of the most recognizable artwork which include, but not limited to, De La Soul’s album covers & Michael Jordan’s restaurant logo.

For his latest piece, entitled Number 23, he references MJ once again in the form of what we all love… sneakers. This stylized piece incorporates the Air Jordan 1. A 24” x 24” acrylic on carved Homasote, this would make an awesome addition to any sneaker room or simply just as a decorative piece of art.

August 23rd from 5pm to 10pm, the Dunkxchange will be held in Las Vegas, NV.

The event will be located at The Hard Rock Café during the MAGIC Trade show. Featuring 40 vendors ranging from collectors, boutiques and street wear brands, the Dunkxchange is sure to be a hit. Live music, appearances by the Jabbawockeez and $10,000 worth of giveaways presented by Asics & PickYourShoes.

Admission fee will be $15 and will be held at the Hard Rock Café from 5-10pm.
