California skate brand Vans is celebrating the warm summer months with their new Color Pack. The release is headlined by colorful versions of the Slip-On and Half Cab. Specifically, both models are done up in two-tone variations (primary color/white midsole) that include orange, yellow, red, blue, and green. The Vans Sk8-Hi & Slip-On Color Pack will be hitting your favorite skate account in the next couple of months, so keep your eyes peeled.

It has only been a little over a week since we showcased the adidas 80’s Snakeskin Pack and we now have a preview of an upcoming Vans Leather Snakeskin Pack. This pack is composed of two of Vans’ most popular models, the Sk8 High and the Slip-On. Both pairs feature fully textured leather faux snakeskin that end up giving the sneakers an extremely classy look. The Sk8 High from this pack yields a contrasting white midsole, while the Slip-On keeps it clean with a black midsole. California-based Vans recently released their Slip-On Collection for Spring of 2009. The laceless lowtop has become a casual staple for the skateboard brand, as the model’s understated upper and chunky vulcanized midsole work effectively with nearly any outfit. The Slip-On is now available in aqua blue, salmon, pea green, black, and pastel yellow. The Vans Spring 2009 Slip-On Collection will begin to pepper retailers in the coming weeks, so be on the alert. Gabe Morford joins the likes of some familiar names brought together over the past few years by Vans and their Syndicate collection. The well known photographer was first discovered to lending a helping hand for the Syndicate line last year, but now the three classic styles have released. The  Era, Slip-On and Half Cab are constructed to withstand fixed gear riding and skateboarding. To achieve this, Vans and Morford implement a combination of materials that includes Ceraprene on the toe box and Dri Lex on the inside of the sneakers. Lastly each shoe will be packaged with a special tool belt and a U-lock designed by Gabe Morford. All three styles are now available at Caliroots.

To commemorate the classic American car era, Vans and car parts company Mooneyes have teamed up to present a collection of classic designs. Included are slip-ons, Eras and SK8-Hi’s released in special edition boxes with the companies logo and colors as its designs. Each sneaker also features the logo along with other car inspired designs. The Vans x Mooneyes collection will be released at select boutiques including Proper.
