KISS x Vans Sk8-Hi - Dressed to Kill

In 1975, legendary rock group KISS released the album “Dressed to Kill” which featured the classic hit, ”Rock and Roll All Nite”. To honor the group, Vans and KISS teamed up earlier in the year and displayed a few designs, the latest are these Sk8-Hi’s which are inspired by the album’s cover. The sneakers consists of artwork on the sides of the sneaker along with the words “Dressed to Kill” written on the outer sole. Release is scheduled for Spring 2009. Via mashKULTURE.

Silas x Vans SK8-Hi

Vans has celebrated the 30th anniversary of the iconic SK8-Hi this year and are teaming up with Silas to add his touch to the classic model. Hit with suede accented by turquoise, Silas adds his signature touch with the addition of his “S” logo along the stripe. A simple combination of colors and design appear on this SK8-Hi making it very appealing. Release is scheduled for early September at Silas & Maria’s flagship store in Tokyo. Via Honeyee.

To commemorate the classic American car era, Vans and car parts company Mooneyes have teamed up to present a collection of classic designs. Included are slip-ons, Eras and SK8-Hi’s released in special edition boxes with the companies logo and colors as its designs. Each sneaker also features the logo along with other car inspired designs. The Vans x Mooneyes collection will be released at select boutiques including Proper.
