The recent collaboration between HUF and Vans which yielded these four SK8-HIs are now available online at HUF’s online store. The pack consists of four models, red/gold, silver/red, blue/silver and black/gold. Each is made up of a satin upper with “huf” written on the tongue in their signature cursive logo. This collection of SK8-HIs is reminiscent of Nike’s Dunk High Vandal Pack which also has similarities in their colors and design. You can find all four here at HUF’s webstore for $100 each.

Slayer was founded in 1981 by Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King and is known as one of the Big Four in thrash metal bands along with Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth. Vans has worked with the likes of Iron Maiden, KISS and Bad Brains already and is adding Slayer to list of rock and roll collaborations. The SK8-HI showcase the group’s logo enlarged at the side with black suede and red finishing up the rest of the details. The Slayer x Vans SK8-HI is scheduled to release in early 2009. Just a few short days after the announcement of the Supreme x Vans collection comes another collaboration update involving HUF and Vans. This Satin Pack showcases four SK8-HI models with similarities in colors with Nike’s Dunk High Vandal Pack and older Vandals. Silver/red, black/gold, red/gold and blue/silver are the four color schemes available and each are made up of a satin upper. You can also find the “huf” signature logo on the tongue and other “HUF” logo at the back heel tab. Expect the Satin Pack to drop sometime soon at HUF SF and LA.

This SK8-HI sports a black suede upper as well as XLarge’s all over logo print in multiple colors at the sides of the sneakers. Up till now, Japanese brand Deluxe has produced everything from tee shirts to pants to accessories, but they have hooked up with Vans to release a SK8-HI. Deluxe has constructed sophisticated lines of clothing and look to contribute to the SK8-HI. The SK8-HI is revamped to sport a more upscale look which includes an elegant wood grain like leather upper. In addition the Deluxe tag and paisley inner lining also highlight the sneaker’s exquisite look. Dedue is now taking pre-orders for the Deluxe x Vans SK8-HI, but they will not be released until next year.

Graphic artist and surface designer, Aimee Wilder have linked up with Vans to release a trio the Sk8-Hi and other accessories. One of the three the two will be releasing is the Sk8-Hi pictured above featuring leather and suede upper complimented by a multi-colored robot all-over print at the sides of the sneaker. The rest of the collection yields a similar style with minor color modifications. Release is scheduled for January 2009.
