For another collaboration project between Lakai and Mita Sneakers, Lakai has released the Mita x Lakai Staple OG as part of the Japan limited collection. The Lakai Staple OG comes in two black colorways that will exclusively be released in Japan only. Black/green/red and black/yellow/purple take over the shoe, taking cues from Gucci and possibly the LA Lakers. Both shoes use black leather and suede uppers and white midsoles. The Lakai logo is etched at the back heel of these lowtop skate shoes, and the contrast stitching makes these dark shoes stand out. Both colorways are available now for about $113 each online.

This Holiday 2009 season, Nike is continuing its Air Zoom Brave collection with the release of the Nike Air Zoom Brave III. The Nike Air Zoom Brave III (3) comes in four colorways that are ready for the court. Black/yellow, white/red, white/black, and white/yellow/black colorways for this top basketball performance shoe. The Brave 3 uses Lunar technology for a light yet reliable fit. Multiple perforations and light mesh materials allow for breathability. These basketball shoes should be making a national appearance soon for the present season.

The Nike Talache is making a comeback next year with a bang! The Nike Talache Mid AC ND comes in a clean sail/sail-obsidian colorway. It uses a white premium leather upper and checkered mudguard that makes this otherwise normal casual shoe stand out. Six dark dots accentuate the ankle, along with a class “Nike” logo at the back heel. Dark obsidian accents nicely offset the lightly-toned shoe. The Talache Mid is set to release in January, allowing us to start the year off pretty nicely.

We last saw a couple small previews of the Skate Mental collaboration with Nike SB earlier this Spring. Today, we have discovered that the Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High Pro will release as a November Nike SB. The Skate Mental x Nike Dunk High Pro SB comes in a brown/white/blue colorway, utilizing a brown suede upper with white leather to match the midsole and a blue leather swoosh to match the inner lining. The outsole is donned in brown to complete this Fred Flinstone-esque colorway. The shoe will release later this month for a price of $110.

Amidst the variety of previews that leaked for Stefan Janoski’s signature skate shoe with Nike SB, the latest one was leaked by the man himself. The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski comes in a Vacahyde design, using a brown and white fur colorway. The name “Vacahyde” was coined by Janoski, with the Spanish term “vaca,” meaning “cow,” and hyde, to translate into “cowhide.”The name fits perfectly, as the upper is donned in full cow fur, from the swoosh to the tongue, offset by leather laces and a white midsole. This would be perfect for some cow-tipping in your cow costume.

Releasing alongside the Nike Blazer Mid Supreme Tier 0 in light grey/metallic gold, the Nike Blazer Mid Supreme Tier 0 is featured in a brown/white colorway. The Nike Blazer Mid uses a premium leather upper with a perforated swoosh, embossed Nike tongue tag, and premium material inner lining to match the classic white midsole. To go along with the urban haze/dark army pair of Air Jordan I High Premier, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan I (1) High Premier in an obsidian/cerulean colorway to offset the aforementioned pair of ones. This AJ1 follows the same makeup as the urban haze pair, using obsidian blue leather and perforated suede materials, which are offset by a white midsole and cerulean blue outsole. The cerulean tone is also placed on the inner lining and classic tongue tag. This AJ1 is set to release in Spring 2010.
