Well known for his timeless hand-made custom creations, Singapore-based sneaker customizer SBTG, or Sabotage, expands upon his portfolio with his latest work of art. The SBTG x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Joy Division’ Custom made exclusively for a private client shows off the artists’ seasoned skills as seen with the classic Air Max 90′s pristine details.

This custom displays an olive green upper with black, yellow, and grey accents, tiger stripe panels along the midsole, and pulsar ripples throughout that are likely to have taken inspiration from Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures album. The lucky recipient of this SBTG custom also looks to have received a custom wooden sneaker box.

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from SBTG and with the coming of the Black Cement Air Jordan III (3) Retro this Novemeber, SBTG is back with another custom sneaker.

The Air Jordan III (3) Retro and SBTG touch base with this custom gem dubbed the ‘Spitfire’ Air Jordan III. This model features SBTG’s famous and iconic ‘Tiger Camo’ in army green, black with hints of red and beige.

While February 14th in the U.S. marks the holiday which pairs of sneakers including the Nike Air Force 1 low and Big Nike high have been made to commemorate, not everyone’s going to be doing the Valentine’s Day thing. February 14th also marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year (as they follow a lunar calendar); and, this year is the year of the Tiger. To celebrate, sneaker customizer SBTG has decided to intricately illustrate the Nike Dunk low silhouette with a design borrowing cues from the 1941 fighter plane that the first American volunteer group in the Chinese Air Force painted on. Summer news regarding DC shoes included a collaboration with Ken Block. DC Shoes has now teamed up with acclaimed sneaker customizer SBTG to result in a sneaker apparently dubbed “The Fly,” a part of the Royale Fam Circus of Mutants collection DC plans to release as early as Spring of 2010. The sneaker comes in a predominantly black colorway with lime green and white accents. This collection will also include caps that complement the sneaker pretty well.
