After all the hype about the World Tour for the new Supra Skytop II, we have a treat that comes in the form of a sample. The Supra Skytop II comes in a metallic gold/black patent colorway sample. The shoe features a full metallic gold leather upper, contrasted by black patent at the ankle and towards the heel. The white sole nicely contrasts the vibrant upper. This sample has a black insole with a gold “Skytop II” print on it, making these some nice kicks that hopefully make a retail release. If you’re digging these and you’re not the lucky winner of these size 7.5 samples, then pray that you’ll see them at your local Supra retailer sometime soon.

Spike Lee has a nice longstanding collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand, having had a pack of shoes released to commemorate the acclaimed director and avid New York Knicks fan. Today, we have a look at what could be or what never will be: a Nike Air Safari 87 Spike Lee Sample. This Air Safari 87 sample features a black and red leather upper with the classic safari print at the toe and heel. The iconic glasses logo, symbolic of Mr. Lee, is donned at the tongue tag in red. It’s been over a year since Nicky Diamonds gave us a leak of Diamond Supply Co.’s very own sneaker, dubbed the Brilliant High. Today, Mr. Diamonds tweeted a sample of the Diamond Supply Co. Brilliant High, in a classic bred and white colorway. The shoe, quotes Nicky, is “My interpretation of a Vans, Chuck Taylor & Gucci shoe all in one.” Yes, indeed, as the midsole features traits from the Converse Chuck, style like Gucci’s, and skateability like Vans. The diamond is stitched at the side, and the classic Diamond logo is found on the tongue tag. Let’s hope there’s more where this came from!

Largely over shadowed by the Nike Air Yeezy, another pair of  Kanye’s lesser known ‘Glow in the Dark Tour’ Nike Air Huarache 08 have surfaced on eBay. Said to be one of only five pairs, the kicks were made exclusive for Mr. West during his string of neon-inspired concerts. Featuring vibrantly colored panels, the 3M material used for the upper certainly gives the model that extra bit of nighttime pop. Now I know what you’re thinking: “FAKE!” But no. These Air Jordan XI’s are in fact real samples. The Air Jordan XI (11) Low comes in a black/red (bred) colorway, which is owned by Ceola Clark, a friend of Jeffrey Jordan, MJ’s son. These jays were given to Ceola from Jeff and Michael as a gift. Yes, be jealous, because this sort of stuff actually happens. The Lows follow the bred design just like its retailed predecessor, with a black patent leather and mesh upper, red inner lining, white midsole, and red translucent outsole. If you absolutely need to get your hands on these babies, then go find Ceola at Western Illinois University, where you can challenge him to 1-on-1 for them. Though a plethora of colorways of the Air Jordan Spizike have already released, Jordan Brand plans to release a new black based style in the coming months. This pair, which was originally previewed back in June and then again recently, hosts a black upper with stealth and varsity red accents. A key component of this Air Jordan Spizike is the cement print found on the wings, midsole, toecap, and heel. Overall, this sneaker yields the typical “Bred” Air Jordan colorway that utilizes black and varsity red.
