Earlier this summer the females were treated to an array of Nike Air Max 1’s that were part of a “Safari” Pack. Now, a popular colorway of two purple tones and grey have been applied to a new Air Max 1 that also sports a more subtle touch of the iconic safari print. With a suede and mesh upper, the safari print consists of synthetic leather, and the laces holes contain yellow accents. But it doesn’t stop there; you can also put in a clear outsole or safari outsole, to really make it a safari shoe. Earlier this year, we showcased a sample Nike Air Max Classic BW, and we are now hearing that the aforementioned Air Max sneaker has made its way to Nike retailers worldwide. Featuring a black durasheen and leather upper accented by a white swoosh, grey/white mid-sole, safari print on the tongue, grey laces, and a purple Air Max logo on the rear, this pair yields a clean and fresh new style of classic model. Though safari print is usually the main focus of a colorway, Nike has toned it down a bit with this style, and the result is definitely worth checking out. Earlier this year, we previewed some of the upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Max 1, and we now have a detailed look at two styles which both utilize quite a bit of safari print. The first variation hosts a white synthetic mesh upper accented by a purple swoosh, grey suede mid-panels, a black out-sole, purple safari print, and purple inner lining. The second sneaker from this Safari Pack yields a similar color scheme while the purple accents are replaced by yellow accents.
