Just in time for the harsh Autumn weather comes the Nike Running Shield Pack.

Consisting of the 6 current Nike flagship running models – the Free Run+ 2, LunarSwift+ 3, LunarFly+ 2, Zoom Structure+ 15, LunarGlide+ 3, and the LunarEclipse+ - the aptly-named “Shield” Pack contains Nike DWR (Durable Water Repellant) technology and reflective 3M material.  Each pair consists of a Fall-appropriate colorway of grey/white/orange.

The Nike Running Shield Pack is slated to drop in October.

Under Armour introduces the Charge RC running shoe.

Performance is at the forefront of the all new design creating a perfect balance between fit and comfort. Take a look at the video with Under Armour’s Creative Director of Footwear, Dave Dombrow, as he explains just how the shoe works as well as some insight into the construction process.

Fall is upon us, which means cold weather, some rain, and marathon season. West NYC connected with Nike to release a special Running Pack for the season.

Owner Lester Wasserman designed the shoes to resemble the fall colors of New York City’s Central Park. The Nike Air Max 1 (men and women) was chosen due to being a classic, and the Lunar Glide 2 (men and women) represents art, innovation and technology.

A total of 26 pairs will be raffled off Sunday November 7th 2010. 10 pairs will be given to Friends and Family of West NYC.

Just as usual, Nike is bringing back hits from the past. This time around, the Nike Air Max 97 has been retro’ed in the metallic silver/varsity red/neutral grey colorway. Although 1997 was only twelve years ago, it doesn’t hurt to have a fresh pair to rock. The shoe uses metallic silver leather and mesh, and most of all, the reflective lining throughout the shoe. To finish things off right, the shoe has a white midsole with Air Max unit and a clean black outsole. These are going for $250 overseas right now.

The next in the line-up of Nike Air Huarache-inspired shoes is the Nike Air Max 90 Premium in the classic mean green colorway. Along with the mean green patent leather panel, the shoe uses a premium white leather upper, midsole, and sole to complement the mean green and varsity royal found throughout the shoe. This AM90 is great for any classic Nike collector, because it follows the bloodline of the Air Huarache made in the latter of the 20th century. Certainly this shoe brings back memories, except for that of the price, which is about $80.
