On Monday we reviewed Reebok’s celebration of its iconic Pump’s 20th anniversary. We already know that the brand plans to celebrate by collaborating with a bunch of other retailers to result in a slew of Reebok Pumps. But thanks to DJ Clark Kent’s connections, we now have an early look at what seems to be a “Friends and Family” edition of the famous shoe. This Pump comes in a OG colorway that includes black, grey, red, and white. Besides coming in a classic colorup, these sneakers are particularly special because of the limited quantities in which they will be made. In fact, Reebok helps you keep track of which pair it is that’s being rocked by printing on the back of the tongue the particular numbered pair you’re looking at. DJ Clark Kent’s pair is apparently one of the very first made, as it says behind his pair’s tongues, “YOU HAVE RECEIVED 00.” We wish you ALL the luck in the world trying to get your hands on a pair of these.

Last spring we saw a rather colorful Reebok Insta Pump Fury in a red/yellow makeup. This time around, the Reebok team put its minds together with those of the Japanese retailer Beams. Their work resulted in two more pairs of the Insta Pump Fury- one almost entirely in orange and another almost entirely in green. As if the sneaker design isn’t attention-grabbing enough, these colors are sure to break some necks; for better or worse. Little is known about the range of this release, however, a release date is imminent.

As you may have already heard, the iconic Reebok Pump system turns twenty this year, and in honor of reaching the two-decade landmark, Reebok has created an elaborate anniversary website, Pump20.com. Featuring a plethora of images, the site is spilt into three headings, ‘Timeline’, ‘Documentary’, and ‘Collaboration’. The ‘Timeline’ tab provides a visual history of Pump technology, as well as a brief explanation of how the system works. ‘Documentary’ displays a twenty-two minute film about the technology that includes interviews with Pump creator Paul Litchfield, and spokespersons Dee Brown and Michael Chang. With sixty second teasers hitting the site every week, the full documentary will be available to stream on November 20th. Last but not least is the ‘Collaboration’ tab. The page features a short video highlighting the works of some of the twenty global affiliate partners who have teamed up with Reebok to create their own version of a Pump model. We’ve already seen images of collaboration efforts with retailers like Solebox and Collete, but the collection in its entirety is set to release on November 20th. As you patiently await the design efforts of some of the most well known sneakershops in the world, head over to Pump20.com to see what all the commotion is about. Screenshots and link after the jump.

Two days ago we showed you a preview of the Reebok Kamikaze’s 2010 comeback bid. In case that wasn’t enough good news for old school Reebok heads, we would like to inform our readers that the Reebok brand is still talkin’ trash- and, as always, it’s doing so with its shoes and not its words. The basketball sneaker pictured here is the Reebok Talkin’ Krazy in a predominantly white colorway with black accents. What’s unique about these revitalized pairs of the Reebok Talkin’ Krazy is that they’re actually designed to allow you to write on them with the use of a dry eraser. At a retail price of $85, how many of you are seriously considering giving these a trial run while attempting to play above the rim (ATR)?
