Earlier today we previewed the Reebok Still Talkin’, the Canton, Massachusetts brand’s newest hoops shoe for Fall. The shoe pairs a gleaming white upper with ventilated black accents. The shoe’s main draw point, however, is the upper — you can write what you want on them! The Reebok Still’ Talkin Mid is available now at Champs Sports for $85.

Two days ago we showed you a preview of the Reebok Kamikaze’s 2010 comeback bid. In case that wasn’t enough good news for old school Reebok heads, we would like to inform our readers that the Reebok brand is still talkin’ trash- and, as always, it’s doing so with its shoes and not its words. The basketball sneaker pictured here is the Reebok Talkin’ Krazy in a predominantly white colorway with black accents. What’s unique about these revitalized pairs of the Reebok Talkin’ Krazy is that they’re actually designed to allow you to write on them with the use of a dry eraser. At a retail price of $85, how many of you are seriously considering giving these a trial run while attempting to play above the rim (ATR)?

Reebok is, rather appropriately, celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. And it is doing so by providing sneakerheads with collaboration-produced pumps like ones worked on with Colette, Solebox, and even atmos. But as the year winds down, Reebok is turning to these Pump Victory Court 2’s to try and cap a great year while ringing in one that’s hopefully even better. Coming in either a predominantly red or blue leather upper, both shoes consist of black and white accents as well. Releasing during this holiday season, certain online retailers have already begun to make these available for purchase. How fast will you act?

Reebok
isn’t taking their 2010 lineup lightly, the addition of another impressive trainer making next year’s collection a point of anticipation for many of their fans. On top of the Ventilator Theory model that blew us away a few weeks ago, images of a new slimmer version of the Insta Pump Fury have got people talking. Featuring a new Reebok carbon fiber sole plate, large perforations along the toe box and side panel, and an upper that looks nearly seamless, the lean silhouette promises both performance and beauty. You can check out more detailed pictures after the jump, as we wait for more information about the shoe to release.

If you’re anywhere near as big a sneaker and sports fan as I am, then there’s no need to describe how exciting the following scenario feels. You’re in the middle of watching a heated NBA game between Eastern Conference/intrastate rivals Orlando Magic and Miami Heat. Harold Miner makes a strong move to the basket and challenges both Horace Grant and Shaquille O’Neal under the basket but you seem to have lost sight of the ball. In fact, you’ve lost sight of the ball, the rim, the net- everything except for one, maybe two, things: Horace Grant’s bright blue knee pad and the Steel Grey Air Jordan X’s on Harold Miner’s feet.

A lot of us did or had friends who did collect cards when we were in our adolescent years. Some habits, however, die hard. Now people like us here at SneakerFiles have the brain behind the KicksOnCards blog to thank for once again giving us a taste of that childhood love for trading cards- as a result of its combination with our present day love for sneakers. Check out KicksOnCards for timepieces that happen to not only highlight some NBA moments passed, but also highlight some basketball sneakers many of us still love and even covet- including my favorite Air Jordan of all time: the Air Jordan Laney V.

KiwiReebokVentilator1

If it seems like it was just yesterday that we discussed the Reebok Ventilator Theory, it’s because it was. Already previews of a second pair have popped up online. One of Reebok’s 2010 drops, this Ventilator Theory comes with a grey upper that’s accented by team purple and kiwi green near the toe box, heel, and sole. Already somewhat of a hit among running shoe lovers, this pair even sports a speckled sole that gives it additional style points sure to keep the eyes of passers-by on your feet a little bit longer. Releasing some time in 2010, the Reebok Ventilator Theory is sure to have more information regarding materials used come up- and you already know you can trust SneakerFiles to report on any such updates. Does the first pair of Ventilator Theory’s even hold a candle to this one?
