Basketball is back; and, it appears as though another favorite of several sneakerheads will be back as well. Reebok is reportedly planning on supplementing its new line of sneakers, such as the Zig Pro Future, with an “oldie but a goodie.” The Reebok Question is set for a comeback in 2012 in at least the white/red colorway pictured here. Is anyone out there hoping for some more colorways to be released as well?

Along with Allen Iverson’s return to Philadelphia, comes the return of two Reebok Questions. This Saturday, December 5, 2009, the original Philadelphia 76ers colorway and a black colorway of the Reebok Question- both of which are pictured here- will drop at Foot Lockers nationwide. Reebok seemingly could not pass up the opportunity to use Iverson’s return to help revitalize their Question silhouette, which Iverson fans who followed him since the beginning of his career will definitely recall seeing him wear. In fact, he wore the white/blue/red Philadelphia 76ers colorway during ONE of his battles with MJ in his rookie season (while MJ made heads turn in his white/red XIIs). So how many of you will be buying one or both of these two pairs? Do you think it’ll help AI find his mojo again?

Oh yes, the coveted NCAA player sample. Division one ballplayers have been hit off with buttery one-of-ones, samples, and exclusives in colors often unreleased to the public. The Boston College Golden Eagles campus is located near Reebok’s Canton, Mass. headquarters. It is this close proximity that led to the brand sponsoring the Eagles, who wear team colors of burgundy/gold. In ’07, the team wore Allen Iverson’s first sigature ride, the Question Mid, in a gorgeous gold/burgundy/white color scheme with a burgundy suede toe cap. Images via RBK Basketball’s Myspace.
