Hopefully, we get an encore of the last exciting NBA season, but for now, we can bask in another ‘encore’, courtesy of Reebok. John Wall’s second signature shoe is available for wear this season with the Reebok Zig Encore.

This piece features similar design cues as it’s predecessor, the Reebok Zig Slash, which featured a familiar silhouette. The Encore boasts a lower collar, Zig-Nano tech, and Wall’s new “JW” logo on the tongue. The Zig Encore is now available in various colorways:

Earlier today we previewed the Reebok Still Talkin’, the Canton, Massachusetts brand’s newest hoops shoe for Fall. The shoe pairs a gleaming white upper with ventilated black accents. The shoe’s main draw point, however, is the upper — you can write what you want on them! The Reebok Still’ Talkin Mid is available now at Champs Sports for $85.

Reebok has traditionally released Allen Iverson’s signature shoe, the Answer, every February. However, with Iverson’s shaky health, uncertainty pertaining to next season, and rumors of retirement, Reebok has significantly moved forward the release date of the 13th edition of his signature shoe to August of 2009. The Answer XIII is available now at select retailers for the price of $100.00 USD.

Scheduled to release during the NBA All-Star Weekend extravaganza in February, the Reebok Answer XII is the latest installment in Allen Iverson’s signature series. The Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons inspired color schemes are complimented by an elegant TPU heel graphic plate that features British poet William Ernest Henley’s poem Invictus. A 2007 Reebok Basketball advertisement proclaimed, “Different Question, Same ANSWER.” The conspicuous slogan was implemented in an embargo for the Question III, the latest from Allen Iverson’s other line. The shoe proved to be a generally unassuming ride, with RBK’s Hexalite cushioning interface placed in the heel and forefoot, a magnetic midfoot strap for added sturdiness up top, and circular TPU inserts integrated into the upper for added ventilation. Team Reebok ballplayer and San Antonio Spurs forward Brent Barry wore the shoe sparingly in ’07, but when he did, he sported the model in a unique white/black colorway to perfectly match his home uniform. Barry’s version is enhanced by “Team” (I’m dissapointed–where’s his “Bones” moniker?) inscribed along the heel, but otherwise, there’s nothing that differs between these and the general release version. Toned up in a Houston Rockets-inspired patent red/white color scheme, this unique pair of Reebok Pump Showstoppers was manufactured for the exclusive in-game use of 7’6 Yao Ming. The shoe is distinguished by the brand’s Vector insignia along the middle panel and PUMP technology out back that allows for a customizable fit when playing.
