Air Jordan Pure Pressure - Inauguration Day PE

Yesterday’s On Court: Barack Obama Inauguration Edition highlighted two of the latest Air Jordan Player Exclusives made exclusively for Mike Bibby and Joe Johnson in commemoration of Barack Obama’s inauguration. Though it was obvious that Obama taking office would have a huge impact on the world, not too many people expected for it to have an impact on Air Jordan models. These two pairs of the Air Jordan Pure Pressure feature the three colors most associated with the U.S.—red, white, and blue. The Air Jordan Pure Pressure with the red accents is made exclusively for Mike Bibby while the other colorway is for Joe Johnson. Both pairs are now available at all three Footlocker House of Hoops locations, but will certainly not last long. Via: Footlocker.

Air Jordan Pure Pressure

Jordan Brand is going back to the what they know best on their newest basketball sneaker, the Air Jordan Pure Pressure. Creating a user-friendly sneaker that performs well on the courts and looks good off the courts has been the inspiration behind Air Jordan sneakers since the start of the brand and this pair yields no exception. The Air Jordan Pure Pressure colorway shown above is obviously inspired by the “Fire Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 5 (V). Featuring a white upper, a black Jumpman logo on the side of the sneaker, and a black stripe above the red speckled misole, this colorway will probably be one of the most popular of Jordan Brand’s newest team model. You can expect to see these and other colorways (pictures after the jump) of the Air Jordan Pure Pressure hit Jordan Brand retailers on February 1st, 2009.
