The First Round Scroll 80 is composed of a leather upper with a patent leather logo stripe. Nike surely isn’t the only company scheduled to have some big releases, Puma has shown bits and pieces of what we can expect from them next year and the Break Point Collection will be available starting next year. The Break Point Collection redesigns the classic styles of the Clyde and Stepper with new color schemes and material choices. Both are available in a selection of colors including green and purple in reference to Wimbledon. Other tennis elements can be found in the collection including perforations relating to traditional tennis attire. The Puma Clyde will be available in March while the Stepper will hit stores in April. Via Vagant.

In honor of their 60th anniversary, Puma has lined up a new selection of sneakers for 2009. Included among these new sneakers is the Unlimited High dropping in two colorways. The first of the two sports black, silver and white ornamented with different textures on logo stripe and on the ankle. The first Unlimited High differs significantly from the other 60th Anniversary sneaker which offers a subtle twist on a classy silhouette.  White is put in place of a black upper along with poison green accents and black highlights. Many sneaker companies will be celebrating monumental years and Puma will be taking part in the festivities. Puma will be launching a new package starting next year that will combine style with class. Classic Puma styles will be revamped to suit the Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Vintage Pack and will include vintage leather versions of the Clyde, Easy Rider, and Top Winner.  This Vintage Pack revolves around a central theme of shades of brown  which corresponds to the Leather Grip Bag. Release is scheduled for the Spring 2009 season in March.

Originally an all over print of one of Puma’s classic styles, the Repeat concept is back for part 2 and appears on the First Round High. For the 2nd collection, this First Round High includes a yellow on black colorway with an all over embossed silhouette of the First Round. Other details that can be found on the First Round High are a black patent leather logo stripe and heel as well as white eyelets. Taking it back to the days of the 80’s, Puma will be launching the Suede 80’s pack which will consist of three colorways. Available in black/grey, grey/brown and brown/burgundy, each sneaker features graphics of graffiti and a clear stripe on the outer part of the sneaker with more designs on the inner portion of the shoe and a stitched stripe. Additional white laces are also included connecting to the graffiti and midsole. You can find all three models now at mita sneakers.
