PUMA has collaborated with all types of people that have included rappers, boutiques and several designers which includes Mihara Yasuhiro. PUMA will launch the MIHARAYSUHIRO Spring/Summer collection on January 14th at the department store Shinjuku Isetan in Tokyo. Alongside the sneakers will be apparel such as track jackets, track pants, button-up shirts and t-shirts. These items can be mixed and matched on the Playstation 3s that are found on the first floor section. PUMA recently consorted with American Rag CIE to manufacture three limited satin versions of the brand’s timeless First Round Hi. The high-riser is accented by a patent leather heel panel and white midsole. The First Round will hit in black, red, and white and is available now at American Rag Cie’s website.

Undefeated x PUMA Suede Mid II was first sighted at the end of last month and a follow up teaser is pictured above. The initial preview displayed the Blue version in the collaboration along with black accents and Undefeated finishes. A few more colorways will also be available and includes white, red, and black. Each features a black logo stripe with the PUMA logo in gold.  Keep an eye out for the Undefeated x PUMA Suede Mid II when it releases in the coming weeks.

Puma once again delivers another intriguing packages with a surprising background. This time around Puma draws inspiration from Japanese monster movies from the 1950’s through the 1970’s to create the “Japanese Monster Pack” for 2009.  Puma chooses some of their classics to make-up the new collection and includes the Clyde, First Round, Stepper, and Puma Mid. Thirty years later and Puma still has a hit on their hands with the Clyde, originally designed for Walt “Clyde” Fraizer. The ongoing collection of the Puma Clyde continues to expand with a collaboration involving mita sneakers. The Puma Clyde is given the “rising sun” design as implemented by Vans with their Hosoi models. However, instead of using white, red and black, Puma decides to include black, white and blue.  The sneakers consist of a black suede toe with black sun rays and a white logo stripe. The mita sneakers x Puma Clyde will be available on January 2nd, 2009 at mita and limited to only 185 pairs. Retail is set for approximately $208 USD.

Undefeated has worked with just about all the big names in sneakers and can now add Puma to their long list of collaborative sneakers. The team-up will yield the Undefeated x Puma Suede Mid II. The Suede Mid II is fashioned with blue nubuck on the upper and the Undefeated five strikes logo in gold pins. Other Undefeated details include “UNDEFEATED” written in gold under PUMA on the side and the Undefeated logo on the keychain. Aside from this model, other colors will include red, black and white.
