In September we brought you a look at the result of a collaboration between Philadelphia based Ubiq and the Atmos team. This time, Ubiq lends its talents to a project with Puma; with the result being a collection of two Puma Suede Mids and two Puma Clydes referred to also as the “700 Level” collection. In fact, what the set of shoes celebrates is reportedly the history of Veterans Stadium, which used to be found in Philadelphia until 2004 and played host to a slew of historic events (both sports-related and not). Many Puma fans were excited when they caught wind of the brand’s “Fatlace” pack. So perhaps they’ll also like one, some, or all of the six latest Puma silhouettes to get the suede treatment and make up what has been dubbed the “Classic” pack. What’s different about this set is that, while the soles remain completely white, the upper is made of two different colors besides white. Puma has recently been making a good amount of noise as a result of things like a stylish suede Mid-V LE and the Silver Winner Pack. Puma is definitely not afraid to take risks, especially on silhouettes like its famous “Monster” one. But now it takes a different sort of approach. As part of a limited edition three-shoe collection, Puma has compiled the Suede Mid-V LE in a yellow, a black, and a white colorway. They all sit atop completely white soles and substitute shoe laces for four straps- giving us a different way to listen to Kanye and try “shoes with no shoe strings.” Because this collection is limited you’ll have to do some hunting to find a place near by that’ll have you covered with this release- thus, your best bet might be an online retailer. The classic Puma Suede has been given some OG flavor as the Puma Suede now comes in a Fatlace pack. The iconic Suede is given a fatlace design for the Puma stripe, making it look as if a white, fat shoelace is coming out the side of the shoe.
