With the second installment of his signature ride, the CP3 2.0, waiting in the wings, New Orleans Hornets point God Chris Paul has been sporting exclusive variations of the luxurious Air Jordan XX3 (23). In short, Paul couldn’t be in a more enviable position. And to coincide with the NBA’s asinine, “51% of the sneaker must match the player’s jersey,” rule, the talented crew over at Jordan Brand manufactured this delicious black/teal version of MJ’s 23rd signature. (Cats in the sneaker industry don’t view the “51%” rule as a law; rather, it’s a challenge to combine the sickest flavors into a playable package!) CP’s “Away” pair features a teal ankle collar, TPU support wrap, and stitch pattern. His creative logo is colored up in white, and sits across the middle of the aforemenetioned collar. Denver Broncos defensive back Dre Bly finished the 2008 NFL season on a sour note last Sunday, as the Broncs were derailed 52-21 in sunny San Diego. The 5′10 corner completed the year with 62 tackles and 2 interceptions all in exclusive Jordan Brand product. In week fourteen against the Kansas City Chiefs, “Dre-Dre” sported this understated white/white/elephant cleated version of the Air Jordan III (3). The model offers up a “Broncos blue” inner lining and his initials, D and B, along the tongue. Former NFL player, Warren Sapp, is no new name to the player exclusive realm of Air Jordans. We have seen countless retro Jordans made exclusively for Sapp including the Air Jordan XI – Warren Sapp PE. We now have pictures of a black / varsity red Air Jordan 12 (XII) made exclusively for Warren Sapp during his days as a Tamba Bay Buccaneer. Created in 2003, this PE also includes detachable cleats that make this pair functionable on all fields during any weather conditions. Featuring a colorway very similar to the Bred colorway of the Air Jordan 12 that released in 2003, this sneaker would truly make anyone want to take up a career in football. The only noticeable differences between the Warren Sapp PE and the 2003 retro are the color of the outsole and the inclusion of detachable cleats on the outsole. This CP3 Air Jordan 2.5 is designed similar to other Chris Paul designed sneakers. On December 10, 2008, the New Orleans Hornets faced off against the Charlotte Bobcats at the New Orleans Arena. The regular season matchup celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the New Orleans franchise. To commemorate the occasion, the team suited up in New Orleans Buccaneers uniforms, the city’s original team. Jordan Brand created a player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) for devilishly quick point guard Chris Paul to sport for the occasion. This player exclusive colorway features a red upper with a white midsole, white shoe lace region, and the typical Air Jordan XX3 side pattern in white. After upsetting Oscar De La Hoya in a blockbuster bout on Saturday, Nike sponsored boxer Manny Pacquiao has earned his very own player exclusive model of the Air Max Bizness. The Filipino has created quite a following over the past few weeks leading up to the fight against De La Hoya and has increased his popularity beating the favored boxer. With that said, it is quite deserving that this athlete be treated to his own PE. The Air Max Bizness is outfitted in the colors of the Filipino flag as well as a large graphic on the upper.
