If you were watching last night’s NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma Thunder, you might have noticed a sparkling Gold shoe on “Sugar Ray’s” feet. Last Night Ray Allen was wearing a PE Air Jordan XII in a Black/Metallic Gold like colorway dubbed the “MLK Day”.  Stitched on the side heel was “Sugar Ray”. There is no word if these PE’s will be releasing but keep it locked on SneakerFiles for any future info.

adidas once again makes headway on the Orlando Magic roster, with not D-12 and the adiPower, but with Hedo Turkoglu and his full line of adidas adiZero Crazy Light PE’s, which we preview here today.

Made up for Turk in Home, Away and Alternate, these Crazy Lights come in all sorts with Black/Blue and Blue/White to take on the road and a White/Blue make-up for all home games. If that isn’t enough, the moniker HEDO15 is also etched on the lateral heel for that one of a kind look.

Look out for these, this season, as Turk and the Magic continue their 66-game season.

Blake Griffin took the NBA by storm once he actually got to set foot on the hardwood floor. And, after taking a look at “The Blake Show” earlier today, it is our pleasure to inform our readers of a Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PE of the great dunker’s that is available for purchase now. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 pictured here comes in a white base with Los Angeles Clippers blue and red accents, as well as a sort of blue camo pattern along the ankle area. These are retailing for $135 in adult sizes and could very well be fan-favorite among several hoopsters out there hoping to fly as The Blake Show does… or at least TRY.

Nike and Under Armour aren’t the only brands with elite NBA players pushing their new signature sneakers. Reebok, home to the Washington Wizards’ John Wall too has a story to tell and a point to prove. As the NBA season nears we will begin to see more from the John Wall camp including this Reebok Zig Encore Washington Wizards PE.

What looks to pay homage to Wall’s alma mater, Kentucky, this signature basketball sneaker sports a royal blue and white upper with patent leather paneling and signature branding along the side panels. As Wizards fans across alike look forward to Wall having a standout season, could it be possible to seen him get a win in this PE?

It didn’t come until the year 2007 where the Golden State Warriors (No. 8 seed) would qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 1994 and defeat the Dallas Mavericks (No. 1 seed) in a 7-game series of the NBA Western Conference Playoffs.

In that exciting first round Mickael Pietrus wore black Air Jordan V PEs. His version of Michael Jordan’s 5th signature Air Jordan sneaker would feature a classic black nubuck upper with yellow accents throughout the shoe including the back heel’s Jumpman logo, lace locks, and his jersey number “2″ as stitched on the side panel. Finished out with a clear sole, this would become one of a few Mickael Pietrus Jordan PE’s that we would see as he’s since departed the brand to join Chinese footwear company Peak.

Of course, many (if not also most) of us think of Derrick Rose and probably Dwight Howard when discussing the adidas Basketball movement. However, the two NBA athletes certainly are not the only ones rocking the three stripes on court. Darren Collison of the Indiana Pacers is among the other athletes who have received specially designed adidas Basektball designs to lace-up. Here we take a look at both “home” and “away” PE colorways of the adidas adiZero Ghost that belong to Collison. Minimal personalization comes by way of the “DC” initials along the heel, while the use of patent leather certainly adds to the allure of these colorways. Let us know what you think after the jump.

NBA athletes, including Dwyane Wade, have been spotted getting their workouts in on courts other than those belonging to NBA owners. This bit of Dwyane Wade news, however, revolves around a PE colorway of the Air Jordan 2011 that was recently spotted online. The colorways is very Miami Heats-esque; with a black and yellow base accented by the red pattern along the panel and toe cap. If you really like these, your best bet for getting a closer look at these might be to luck out and find Dwyane Wade wearing them during another exhibition game/practice because there is no indication that these will see a general release.
