Slowly but surely, the Adidas Nizza silhouette is becoming more and more popular. Thus, it was a no-brainer to put plaid together with the shoe to make it even more appealing. Now, the Adidas Nizza Hi comes in two plaid colorways: grey/black/white and red/black/white. Both shoes use narrow white vulcanized midsoles, especially for the grey pair, which uses a lighter base. The grey pair uses a grey/black plaid wool upper, whereas the other uses a red/black one. They are nicely contrasted by leather panels and a convenient ankle tab. Each pair is available for about $107 online.

The Big Nike was originally released way back in the 1980s, and Nike is bringing them back in full effect for 2009. This brown, black, and red colorway is original, while a little plaid is added for some new flavor. All of the different materials being used on the upper complement each other just as well as the colors do. These are true lifestyle Nikes, and will be released sometime in November.

As part of February 2009′s Nike SB collection, this Nike Dunk SB Mid is set to drop. Featuring a multicolored upper with a black shoe lace region and a beige swoosh, this pair seems pretty simple at first look. The defining aspect of this pair that sets it apart from the rest of the February Collection is definitely the plaid print seen on the heel of the sneaker. Aside from the plaid, this pair also sports a black rear, a navy blue toecap, and a white midsole. The Nike Dunk Mid Premium SB – Plaid is set to drop in February 2009. Via PTNC.

Nike is no stranger to plaid and have used the simple pattern with a few releases this year and is scheduled to release this Plaid Nike Dunk Mid Premium SB next Spring. Plaid appears around the ankle and not at the mid panel which is where it was intially. In addition, obsidian, black and beige are a few other colors appearing on this premium model. Release is set for Spring of ’09, but a sample pair has appeared on eBay.

Nike SB‘s Plaid Fitted Caps have made their way into SB accounts as apart of their August collection. The three styles include two hats that feature the interlocking “SB” logo while the last contains the traditional Nike SB logo.
