Earlier this year Nike bestowed upon us once again the Nike Air Penny III in its classic royal blue colorway. Orlando Magic fans and players alike were quick to rock a pair of these on and off the court. In the summer of 2010, however, fans of the Penny III’s might have two new colorways to choose from. The first pair pictured here comes in a predominantly red colorway with white and black accents. A second pair that will hopefully drop consists of a predominantly purple colorway also with white and black accents sure to appease fans of purple, like yours truly. Keep your fingers and whatever else you can crossed if you too hope that Nike in fact comes out with these in the summer of 2010.

Earlier today, a new black and green colorway of the Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent was shown. This new triple black colorway should be releasing around the same time as the other one, but for now, it’s just a sample. As you can see, every aspect of the shoe is black, except for very minimal silver accents in the swoosh and shoelaces. Of course, these have the same translucent sole as the others, and you know how people go crazy over icy soles. These Air Penny 1/2 Cents should retail for about $190, so keep that in mind as we get closer to the release date.

One of the most anticipated hybrid sneakers in history, the Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent is back in a new black and green colorway. We recently previewed another new colorway, which came in metallic silver and black. For those that don’t know, the Air Penny 1/2 Cent is a hybrid model which consists of parts from each of Penny Hardaway’s signature shoes. Nike has pleased Penny Hardaway these past few weeks supplying several favorites and completes the Penny line with the Nike Air 1/2 Cent, a hybrid sneaker inspired by all the sneakers worn by Penny Hardaway including the Foamposite 1 and Air Max Penny II-IV.
