For NBA fans, Christmas Day is always important due to the quality of games held on the day. This time, Ray Allen has a player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2.5 which features the typical Boston Celtics’ white/green color scheme. Yielding a white upper, a celtics’ green midsole, the words “Sugar Ray” on the ankle, and the infamous Air Jordan 3 (III) cement print, this pair definitely belongs in every player exclusive collector’s arsenal. Former NFL player, Warren Sapp, is no new name to the player exclusive realm of Air Jordans. We have seen countless retro Jordans made exclusively for Sapp including the Air Jordan XI – Warren Sapp PE. We now have pictures of a black / varsity red Air Jordan 12 (XII) made exclusively for Warren Sapp during his days as a Tamba Bay Buccaneer. Created in 2003, this PE also includes detachable cleats that make this pair functionable on all fields during any weather conditions. Featuring a colorway very similar to the Bred colorway of the Air Jordan 12 that released in 2003, this sneaker would truly make anyone want to take up a career in football. The only noticeable differences between the Warren Sapp PE and the 2003 retro are the color of the outsole and the inclusion of detachable cleats on the outsole. On December 10, 2008, the New Orleans Hornets faced off against the Charlotte Bobcats at the New Orleans Arena. The regular season matchup celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the New Orleans franchise. To commemorate the occasion, the team suited up in New Orleans Buccaneers uniforms, the city’s original team. Jordan Brand created a player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) for devilishly quick point guard Chris Paul to sport for the occasion. This player exclusive colorway features a red upper with a white midsole, white shoe lace region, and the typical Air Jordan XX3 side pattern in white. Player Exclusives are some of the rarest sneakers ever produced. However, things have changed and have been made available to the public, but there are some more harder to get than others. A new Player Exclusive (PE) has just appeared and has been created for the Westchester Comets. This Nike Zoom Kobe I (1) is made up of the school’s black and red colors along with elephant print, patent leather and carbon fiber. In just a few seasons, Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets has gone from a lightning fast rookie to a NBA superstar. During his short career, Paul has experienced more than some players do in an entire career including having to leave New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. Subsequently, the New Orleans Hornets moved to Oklahoma City and Paul began a new chapter to his career. Upon returning to New Orleans, the Hornets have experienced great success. On November 21, 2008, Chris Paul led his Hornets back into Oklahoma City to face the Thunder. In that game, Paul wore this pair of Air Jordan XX3 (23) PEs that is now being auctioned off on ebay by the CP3 Foundation. This player exclusive features a black upper with light blue accents, topped off with a CP3 logo on the ankle support. This pair is not only game worn, but also autographed by Chris Paul himself.
