Seimone Augustus of the Minnesota Lynx rocked a white/blue pair earlier this week, while Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm wore a much brighter colorway consisting of a white base with bright yellow and green accents. A couple other key sneakers include the “Home” Sue Bird PE, Seimone Augustus PE, and the Candice Dupree PE. Though we did not see too many NBA players rocking the Nike ZS3 this season, it seems as though WNBA players prefer the snug fit offered via the sneaker’s two forefoot straps. Be sure to check out some more WNBA Player Exclusives (PE) of the Nike Zoom Soldier 3 (III) after the jump.

Earlier today, we showcased a new Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) colorway made exclusively for Diana Taurasi, and we now have another PE to share. This player exclusive was made for members of the King James Shooting Stars, an AAU basketball team from Akron, Ohio. This LBVI features a predominately red leather upper with white accent seen on the toeband, stitching, and sole, while black accents can be seen via the swoosh and inner lining. This pair features a white leather upper with orange and purple accents. Though the sneakers do not match with the Phoenix Mercury jerseys too well, it is still pretty interesting too see WNBA athletes with heat on their feet. There is nearly no chance for these Player Exclsuives to ever hit retailers, so be sure to check out the additional pictures after the ‘jump.’

In an attempt to recapture that ‘ol “championship attitude”, Dwyane Wade spent the 2008-09 NBA in his ’06 Finals MVP garb: knee-high socks, McDavid protective gear and his first signature shoe, the Wade 1. As such, Converse fabricated a “Playoff Special” player exclusive version of the shoe that features a black nubuck upper and a red faux-croc embossed toe. The model features a double lasted heel that improves durability, shark inspired vents that provide relief from the Heat, and EVA inserts in the heel and forefoot for added bounce. As for the kicks, “fugget about ‘em!” They’re exclusive to Dee, unless the Heat make a pronounced run in the NBA’s 40 night marathon. Then of course, Converse would be wise to release them…in limited qualities…right? Via Bounce.

Throughout most of the season, Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics wore player exclusive colorways of his own sneaker, the Nike Max P2 V, but now that the stakes are higher and the playoffs have started, Pierce has decided to switch to the Nike Zoom Sharkley. The Nike Zoom Sharkley was the sneaker of choice for many guards earlier in the season, but most have moved on to other sneakers including the Nike Zoom Phenom. This “Home” Nike Zoom Sharkley Player Exclusive (PE) features a white upper accented by a green midsole, green inner lining, a black outsole, a clear sole under the heel, and Pierce’s logo on the rear. Unfortunately, this colorway was made exclusively for Paul Pierce, and will most likely never be available in stores.
