Since Amsterdam based retailer Patta announced its upcoming collaboration with footwear brand Asics, the Patta x Asics Gel Saga sneaker has gained much attention and has been received well thus far from industry leaders and sneaker enthusiasts alike.

Patta is no newcomer to collaborations with Asics either as they’ve teamed up in past to put their twist on popular models including the Gel Lyte III and Gel-Lyte Speed. In 2011, the Saga continues and we’re sure to see more from Patta in the future as they continue to bring forth the best in footwear.

After showing you a preview of the upcoming Patta x Asics Gel Saga, we now have a detailed look at the kicks.

Featuring a predominately black silhoutte, red and white accents can be found throughout.  Hits of green can be found on the outsole and on the Gel Saga branding while Patta branding can be found on the insole.  FInally, the shoes come with two sets of laces – one white and one black adorned with white X’s.

No word yet on a specific drop date, but the collab is limited to only 400 pairs, with most being sold exclusively through Patta.

Patta was a part of perhaps one of the bigger collaborations this year, teaming up with Parra and Nike to come up with a burgundy Nike Air Max 1 accented wonderfully by soft blue shoe laces. Well, it appears that Patta wants to end the year with another collaboration. This time around, the Dutch sneaker shop joins forces with the Asics design team to work on a GEL Saga, for which we have a sneak peek today. This shoe is set for a December release, so check these teaser pics and let the hype start building up!

Dutch sneaker spot Patta and KangaROOS have teamed up for a new collection this Fall.

The PxK Hiking Collection features two updated classics – the K2 and the Woodhollow.  Each has been given a makeover with the inclusion of premium leathers and CORDURA fabrics – which are renowned for their durability and toughness.  Each pair sports minimal “PxK”, Patta, and KangaROOS branding while featuring simple color blocking in subtle colorways.  Finally, a special edition Victorinox Swiss Army Knife comes included  with each pair.

The PxK Hiking Collection is set to drop via select retailers on November 5.

Just yesterday we brought sneaker fans the great news that the Patta x Parra x Nike Air Max 1 would be releasing next Saturday from select Nike retailers stateside and, of course, the Patta shop in the Netherlands. In anticipation of that date, we would also like to now shoe you more detailed pictures of this highly coveted sneaker that recently hit the internet. Previewed back in November of last year, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 got the attention of several sneaker fans because of the burgundy and blue choices as part of the color palette and because of the materials used. In mid-February, we showed you this sneaker again in anticipation of its seemingly evasive release date. But we need not wait any longer. On Saturday, March 13th of this year, the Air Max 1 resulting from this collaboration between Patta and Nike will be releasing exclusively from the Patta shop in the Netherlands. However, a limited run of these Air Max 1s will also be made available for purchase from very select Nike Sportswear stores stateside. We’ll continue to relay any developing information for all you Nike Air Max 1 enthusiasts out there as the release date inches closer and closer.

Once again, for the bazillionth time, Patta has teamed up with Nike to work their magic on the Nike Air Max 1 silhouette. This time, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium Tier 0 gets a makeover in a black/white-lucky green-gum colorway. Much like the first sample we saw from the collaboration, this colorway features a black canvas upper with a black ballistic nylon underlay, along with a white swoosh to match the midsole. Lucky green is placed at the Patta 5th anniversary tongue tag to mix with the upper lace holes and Patta logo at the back heel. A classic gumsole finishes off this clean colorway, determining Patta as a master designer on the Air Max 1 tip. These release exclusively at Patta’s new Precinct Store on December 18th at 12pm local time.
