It’s not easy to find original Air Jordan’s in great shape, let alone signed.

Lucky for collectors there is eBay, and with that we get the opportunity to find these rarities every so often. This pair of OG Fire Red AJV’s is in great shape and come equipped with MJ’s signature on the collar. Yellowed soles and rubber toe cap give the shoe some character while the upper is in pristine condition.

There are quite a few OG and Retro models available which have been autographed, with Christmas coming up soon they would make a great gift.

Air Jordan collectors rejoice! It’s been seventeen years since this original sample was produced, and somehow it finally showed up after probably being moved around a few times. The Air Jordan VII (7) 1992 Original Look See Sample has surfaced to show our eyes what could have been a staple pair of 7′s. The og pair of jays has a white leather upper and varsity purple suede accents, along with red, black, and teal to contrast the white midsole. The shoe has a white tongue and purple heel tab to match the rest of the shoe. Hate it or love it, this one of one sample is in the hands of fellow NT’er HipHopCaliber and won’t likely be moved around for a while now. Check out more pictures after the jump.

The Converse x Original Jams – Skidgrip Mid was previewed earlier this month, and we are now receiving word that the aforementioned mid tops will release alongside its low top counterpart, the Converse Skidgrip Low. The Skidrip Mid features a green upper with multicolored accents and a clean white midsole. The Skidgrip Low from this Jams Pack yields an extremely colorful base which sits on top of an orange stripe and a white midsole. An interesting aspect of this pack is the fact that both pairs come with a plethora of extra laces to fit all your colorful needs. These are now available at select Converse retailers including St. Alfred.

Back in 2000 before the Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro – Black/Deep Infrared was released, many sneakerheads may remember that a sample image was seen which depicted certain midsole parts of the sneaker as infrared instead of black. This little deviation from the original sneaker had collectors going crazy and throwing fits. Jordan Brand recognized what the consumers wanted and eventually ended up releasing a product more in line with the Original Air Jordan 6 Infrared. Though at that time the sample was seen as nothing special, it is now available on the ‘Bay for a current bid of over $5,000.

This week in Retrospect we chose to feature a true classic, the Air Jordan 11 (XI) OG Concords. As you know the Air Jordan 6 Rings Concords release tomorrow, so its time to give proper appreciation to what has led a few other Concord Air Jordans to release.

The Air Jordan 11 (XI) Original Concords released in November of 1995, and this was one of the pairs Michael Jordan laced up to help the Chicago Bulls end the 1996 Season with a 72 – 10 record. At the time, patent leather on a basketball shoe was unheard of, but the man and legend Tinker Hatfield wanted the Air Jordan 11 (XI) to look like a convertible on your feet.

Retrospect Fridays are back, and since we have just learned the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is releasing in 2009, we thought displaying the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 (II) OG was only right. The color scheme we have here is the Black / Emerald, a favorite amongst Seattle Mariners fans.

The Nike Air Griffey Max 2 (II) OG Black / Emerald released in 1997, and is the second signature shoe or Ken Griffey Jr. Carbon fiber is featured by the heel, the Ken Griffey signature bat swing is on the heel, and perforated side panel. Also, the Griffey Max 2 was the first in the Griffey line to contain a Air Max Cushioning all around. More pictures after the jump.
