As the Cavs took out the trash with the Washington Wizards, they did it in style with their red Hardwood Classic throwback jerseys. To match the throwback uniform, LeBron bust out the matching HWC Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) for all our “oohs” and “aahs.” The red base patent leather shoe features yellow and white accents throughout the shoe to match the uniform to the very last detail. It seems like everytime LBJ rocks a new pair of Nikes, his team comes out with a win. Stay tuned to see more of LBJ and the Cavs, as well as what’s on their feet.

Christmas day this year on the hardwood was host to a few of this season’s top teams. Here we have a closer look from Getty Images at the heated battle between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Aside from the actions of the crowd at home in LA, the good thing about the night was the shoes. Bron Bron was rocking the Christmas Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs while the Black Mamba rocked the Chaos Nike Zoom Kobe Vs. Perhpas you could say that the team with the more festive shoes won the day.

Although the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a loss away against the Houston Rockets, the good thing we saw was that LeBron James broke out the China Moon Nike Air Max LeBron VII on court. In Friday night’s win over the Chicago Bulls, LeBron James brought out the “Box out Breast Cancer” Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs to play in, while other Cleveland Cavs, such as Mo “Mo Gotti” Williams, Zydrunas Ilgauskus, and Anderson Varejao, rocked the pink Nike Hyperizes to raise awareness for breast cancer research. LBJ also wore a matching pink arm sleeve and warmup shirt to complete the fit, doing good and doing it in style.

Game 1 of the 2009 NBA Finals was quite anticlimactic with the Los Angeles Lakers winning by 25 points; however, Game 2 proved to be a completely different story. The Orlando Magic rookie, Courtney Lee, missed an alley-oop attempt with 0.6 seconds left in regulation, sending the game into overtime. There, Kobe Bryant and company took over, and ended up winning Game 2 with a final score of 101-96. Though the game progressed at a relatively slow speed, it was nonetheless a great show of basketball talent and fancy footwear. Earlier today, Kobe Bryant and his fellow Los Angeles Lakers came to Quicken Loans Arena to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Though Kobe Bryant was reported to be ill and needed intravenous fluids at halftime, his Lakers pulled through with a 101-91 victory with notable performances from Odom and Gasol. Though the game was exciting, the true excitement was brought while sneakerheads compared the two supertars’ sneaker choices. Lebron James showed up with a new Fairfax Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6), while Kobe started the game with the Carpe Diem Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) and switched to the Venom KBIV at the quarter break. Even though Bryant’s sneaker switch is quite an interesting topic, most sneakerheads stared in awe at what James was rocking. This is our first look at the Fairfax colorway of the Zoom Lebron VI and it looks quite promising.
