With the Olympics underway in 2012, the Olympic inspired sneakers start to come out of the woodwork. We took a brief look at the Nike Air Force 180 and the Air Jordan VI (6) in Olympic make ups, and now we have the LeBron 9 ‘USA’ .

This LeBron 9 Low features the classic Red/White and Blue with Hyperfuse and Flywire uppers, midfoot support and solid rubber outsole.

Several Player Exclusives (PE) were drawn up for the Beijing Summer Olympics that took place a few weeks ago, one in particular that is quite surprising is the Air Jordan V (5) pictured above. This USA Basketball follows the traditional theme of white, silver and navy being accompanied by making up the white upper. More Olympic associated elements include “08/08/08″ being sewn into the inside of the tongue and the USA Basketball logo appearing on the inside of the sneaker. Soon to be released over the next few weeks, this Nike Zoom Ambassador is featured in the “United We Rise” series, a combination of  Team U.S.A’s colors and designs. The Zoom Ambassador is the latest added to Lebron’s arsenal of sneakers and will be making its debut in style.

Although it may not carry the Lebron title its in name, Lebron’s logo and tagline “King James” can be found near the ankle and back heel respectably. In addition, this United We Rise edition may be a little overdue, but its sleek combination of red/white/blue, quilted leather and the team’s signature graphic design along the mid-sole makes it worth the wait. This weekend marks the release of a few Air Jordan models, including highlights like the Air Jordan 1 Retro and Six Rings, both consisting of the Olympic theme. The Air Jordan 1 is making a strong return in the retro scene with the likes of this Olympic model and a host of others over this past year.

Next year is no exception either, a variety of models in several forms has already been confirmed, but nevertheless this a positive sign for Air Jordan 1 fans. The other model releasing alongside the AJ1 is the Six Rings, a rather new model seen in a few select styles including the popular Olympic combination. You can pick up both this weekend for $100 and $150 at Air Jordan retailers and Millennium Shoes.

Yet another Olympic themed model has found its way to the internet, the Nike Air Force 180. Reported to be a House of Hoops Exclusive, this Air Force 180 is made up of the traditional Team U.S.A colors, white/navy/metallic silver/team red. This soft combination has been recycled numerous times over the past few weeks, but considering the background of the Air Force 180, it really fits nicely and ties things together. The 2008 Beijing Olympics are coming to an end today and commemorate the games with this Closing Ceremonies Nike Air Force 1. Dressed in metallic gold, the upper is also composed of a black laces, lining, and tongue accents to compliment the Chinese inspired designs. Furthermore, the sneakers will be packaged in a black 08/08/08 box. Release is scheduled for August 25th. Via MILK with MSN.

Continuing with the Olympic celebrations, Puma honors athlete Tommie Smith through the latest Puma Clyde. For those not familiar with Tommie Smith, he participated in the 1968 Mexico City Olympics where he won the gold medal and caused controversy by raising his arm while receiving his medal. Tommie’s 200 meter dash record appears on the tongue while metallic gold medals are embossed on the upper. Furthermore, two sets of laces are included with 1968 appearing on the tips.
