Jordan Brand reaches out of the box and out of the professional and college level talent, and into the highschools with Jordan Brand Player Exclusives.

JB unveils the PEs for the country’s three top-flight high schools that get that JB treatment – St. Patrick, Montrose Christian and Oak Hill Academy. Each school will take on the the league in special make-ups of Team Jordans, including the Jordan Big Ups, Jordan Fly 23 and the Air Jordan 2011 A-Flight.

Being the alma mater of a Jordan Brand team member has its upside- including getting yearly PEs of some of the newest Jordan Brand sneaker heat. Carmelo Anthony’s alma mater, Oak Hill Academy, often benefits from this arrangement; and, the Jordan Brand design team is back at it again. Today, we present to you the still-fresh-in-our-minds Jordan Melo M8 in the classic black/red/yellow Oak Hill Academy colorway. Do you wish you could lace a pair of these up?

Oak Hill Academy has produced players like Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith, Rajon Rondo and plenty of other current NBA players so it is no surprise to see their squad getting the special treatment. The Air Jordan 60 Plus appeared on the feet of some of the Warriors at the 2009 ESPN Rise National High School Invitational against St. Benedict’s. The sneakers  are made up of the teams colors of red, white, yellow and black. Design wise, the sneakers commemorates the games in which Michael Jordan scored over 60 plus points and are reported to take features from past Air Jordans.
