Right before Halloween, fittingly enough, we brought you news of the Nike Zoom Lebron VII “Phantom” releasing in a black/black colorway from select Nike stores, including Foot Locker, on December 17th of this year. Since then, however, slight changes have been made to the accenting properties of the shoe. If you take a close look at the detailed pictures that have surfaced online, you’ll see that there are a handful of gold accents on the shoe where there previously were not- including the L23 symbol on the heel and towards the top of the shoe laces area. In mid-October we brought you a look at what many have deemed the best Nike Zoom Air Max Lebron VII yet in a black/white-teal colorway. This pair of the Lebron VII also sports MINIMAL red accents and is nicknamed the “Red Carpet.” Well, it has now been made public that these are now available in VERY limited quantities from Foot Locker on 34th street in New York City and three House of Hoops locations: New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Towards the end of July we brought you a look at a sample Nike Zoom Lebron VI in an anthracite colorway that some people might have wished was made into a general release. But Nike is now preparing to drop the newest installment of the Nike Zoom Lebron signature shoe series in a similar black/black colorway inspired by one of the cars the king himself enjoys driving in: the black Rolls-Royce. And despite the completely black colorway, the shoe boasts both leather and suede for some nice detailing. This shoe will start to release at certain Nike retailers such as FootLocker starting Thursday December 17, 2009. How many of you are planning to cop at least one pair of these?

With all the build-up and hype surrounding the seventh edition of Lebron James’ signature sneaker line with Nike, it seemed as though sneak pics of a new colorway were popping up every week this summer. A little over a month ago we brought you a sneak peek of the Nike Zoom Lebron VII in a white/navy-red colorway, which plenty of you agreed was well-executed. Before any Nike Air Max Lebron VII even came close to officially releasing, an absolute flurry of colorways could be previewed online as a result of a massive advertisement campaign championed by the Nike team and King James himself. In an effort to expand Lebron’s market, several pairs of his seventh signature Nike shoe were made in honor of foreign cities like London and the Chinese pair pictured here.

Several pairs of the Lebron VII only released in their respective cities, such as the aforementioned London pair. That lead many of us fans to fear that the Lebron VII “China Moon” too would only be available for purchase in China. We’re glad to report that that’s not the case. House of Hoops locations in the states will be the only Nike retailer to carry this white/metallic gold Lebron VII that is inspired by the traditional Chinese Moon Festival. Get your funds and popcorn ready as these will be releasing come this Saturday October 17, 2009. It is almost guaranteed to be CRAZY out there.

The Nike Zoom Lebron VII is quickly shaping up to surpass the Lebron VI as the most anticipated and beloved of the King’s signature shoe line. In fact, it’s gotten so crazy that we’ve even got sample pictures of a low-top version of the shoe that’s slated to release NEXT summer- before the first Lebron VII even drop THIS year. Well, here is some more 2010 news. In January of next year the Nike Zoom Lebron VII’s pictured here in black and “pink fire” will be made available in Grade School sizes throughout FootLockers and Kids FootLockers nationwide. Amazing how even bright pink can look amazing on this sneaker’s silhouette. How many of you who rock small sizes are looking forward to this drop?
