Ever since its inception in 2002, Nike SB has been creating concepts and producing sneakers that honor people, places, and events. Now, the line is dedicating a model to the ubiquitous “boob tube.” That’s right, Nike will be releasing a Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium in 2009 that will be inspired by what some consider to be the best invention ever, the television. Featuring an understated dark brown/gray/light green colorway.  The shoe’s insole is distinguished by a colorful pixel print that is frequently used to represent how the TV has evolved over time from its dull primordial days to the high-definition present. Here’s a preview of an upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Premium dropping next year. This model features a unique composition seen throughout the sneaker. From its bright color way of yellow, blue, and green to its interesting use of materials which includes cracked leather at the toe box and middle panel. Nike SB’s Spring 2009 line is no mystery due to photos of several different models and styles surfacing the internet. Take some time to enjoy one more model that is scheduled to be released next Spring, it is this sample SB Classic made up of a brown base with mint highlights. This combination perhaps is in reference to a box of Junior Mints. A type of candy which consists of small amounts of mint inside of a dark chocolate coating. Not a big fan of Nike SB’s Non-Dunk Fall ‘09 collection? Have no fear here is a new batch of Dunks dropping next Fall. Appearing in low, mid and high cuts, Nike SB will not be going down the safe route and will be mixing colors and materials together in ways that have not been done. July will see the release of the first Mid Dunk and the last Dunk High after the jump while the red/gold Dunk Low and grey/yellow Dunk Mid will hit stores in August. Lastly, the black/red Dunk High and green/brown Dunk Low will be available in September. Via NSB.

Although Fall isn’t for a few months, a preview of Nike SB’s Non-Dunk collection has just surfaced the internet. Included models including the Blazer, P-Rod 3, Janoski, Bruin SB, Harbor, Tre A.D. and Veloce, there are some that stand out among the rest, but it there is a diverse selection for Fall of ‘09. There are some unfamiliar models in the bunch including the P-Rod 3, Janoski, Bruin SB and Veloce which are debuting next year.
