With the release of Nike SB‘s new ‘Bloody Gums’ Dunk High model just around the corner, its about time that we took a closer look at some of the shoe’s features. The colorway uses Blue and Red suede (toothpaste and blood?) for a majority of its upper, with white in the Swoosh and laces providing a little bit of contrast. The most exciting part of the shoe however, is definitely the bloody gum translucent outsole. A surprisingly life-like graphic, the wow factor really sets in once the shoe is flipped over. Set to release next month, by sure to keep in touch with your local Nike SB retailer if you’re looking to grab a pair.

Brandon Cheng of Triumvir has presented their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB and flystreetwear. This story surfaced just a few days ago and now the concept of the Nike SB Dunk Mid Beijing is broken down. Several elements from Beijing go into to the design of this sneaker including dust, traffic, highways, noodles, and Tienanmen Square. It snowed today in Wisconsin. It’s October 27, mind you. I’m not sure if the snow is a foreshadowing of our impending doom, but I do know that a whole slew of releases are slated to release from the Nike Skateboarding camp beginning in early November. Whether you’re a boarder or “poser”, the Swoosh has you covered with product that provides a sturdy, comfortable ride that also translates well into the anti-leisure world. More particularly, the line will feature a two-pair pack of Dunks that’s inspired by Superhero lore and the long awaited McFly Zoom Tre A.D.’s. Look for SB’s Fall line at your local skateshop in the coming weeks. Via South of the North.
