Avid Nike SB fans won’t soon (or ever) forget the Nike SB Dunk high-top “Sea Crystal” that dropped in early 2004. Eight years later, we get a look at a comparable colorway applied to the mid-top version of the Nike SB Dunk. This time around, it is black paneling that is mixed in among the sea crystal blue parts, with sea crystal blue on the Nike swoosh (as opposed to black) and white midsoles (as opposed to sea crystal). This is the first look we take this year at the suede/leather Nike SB Dunk mid Pro rendition of the “Sea Crystal,” so stay tuned for developing news information as it may become readily available to us.

This Fall will see a plethora of both strapped and strapless Dunk Mids from Nike SB.

One such strapped mid is this new obsidian makeup. Sporting a look similar to that of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk “Blue Lobster”, these are decked out in a tonal upper that makes use of both suede and tumbled leather. The lone contrast on these Mids is the sky blue outsole.

The latest bit of news regarding the more rarely seen mid-top cut of the Nike SB Dunk has to do with a “bone” colorway that is being prepared for a Summer of 2012 drop. Today we get a look at another Nike SB Dunk mid that is actually releasing this Holiday season. Fans of Superbad might have a particular affinity to this colorway, which is nicknamed the “Golden Hops” pair and will surely remind Superbad fans of when McLovin tried to get his hands on some alcohol with his infamous fake ID. This Nike SB Dunk mid comes in a black leather upper with gold paneling, red accents and white midsoles. These have actually already begun popping up at Nike SB retailers online.

Joining the “Nori” SB Dunk Mid next Summer will be this “Bone” colorway.

Sporting a simple suede and textured leather upper, the kicks feature a light khaki on the suede paneling while the leather portions, laces, and lining consist of a darker contrasting shade.  These Dunks are finished off with white accents on the branding, midsole, and outsole.

Look for these to be a part of Nike SB’s Summer lineup for 2012.

As we continue to make note of all of Nike SB’s Summer 2012 releases, today we get a look at another addition to the line up, the Nike SB Dunk Mid “Nori”.

Although Nori Dunk Mid will come strapless unlike previous generations of the Mid, they will feature premium suede and leather materials in a nice shade of green and blue with a black Swoosh, contrast laces, atop a white midsole and grey outsole. Look for the new Nike SB Dunk Mid “Nori” to hit stores some time early to mid 2012.

Slightly over a month ago we came to learn that a green and red Nike SB Dunk mid with gold accents had become available for purchase through a trusted Singapore retailer. A month later we can confirm that the Nike SB Dunk mid pictured here in the noble green/metallic gold colorway has hit Nike SB stores stateside as a November 2011 release and is retailing for approximately $87 wherever found. These could very well make any Christmas outfit complete, as the gold accents only work to augment the nicely mixed green with red upper. Cop yours soon before too many other sneakerheads snag up this Christmas time design.
