The Three Bears Dunk SB pack from Nike was a hit with many sneakerheads. Now we have something to report that will remind many of the Baby Bear low from the aforementioned pack. We now have pictures of a supposed 2009 sample of a Nike Dunk Low SB dubbed by some as the “Chirping Bird.” The reason for the alias is that, if you push down on the thin tongue that every sample has, then you’ll hear a bird chirping. For how many of you does this sample surpass all of the shoes that made up the Three Bears pack? For how many of you is this easy to look passed? Nike SB (Skateboarding) blessed professional skater Omar Salazar with his own Nike Blazer SB. The shoe features a black quilted leather upper paired with a white Swoosh and midsole. Ink blue laces and a matching heel tab with “OMAR SALAZAR” stitched in with white stitching provides contrast. For right now, it appears as if Omar Salazar’s Nike SB Blazer sample will be exclusive to him, but we’ll keep you posted on any fresh details.

While growing up in San Fernando Valley, Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) would take his skateboard to the loading dock at his local Albertsons supermarket and practice tricks. Fast forward a handful of years and Paul Rodriguez was blessed with a signature shoe from Nike SB. Then, the greatest designer to ever blueprint a bubble decided to put his own hands on the first Nike P-Rod. Sir Tinker Hatfield is the architect and designer who fused elements of the first P-Rod sneakers with cement print and the Air Jordan logo. Hatfield’s creation is known today as the Tinker-Rod. Pictured here is a rare sample of the sneakers with the Albersons supermarket logo etched in the toe-box. Find a pair of hot shoes but the seller’s asking price obliterates your budget? Sounds like my life story. A few months ago, a pair of unreleased Nike Dunk SB Hi’s hit eBay; problem was, the seller was wanted $2500 for them. Exorbitant perhaps, but with premium leather, suede accents and a marvelous black/mint green color scheme, the price might’ve been justified for this sample Nike. In a recent turn of events however, the holder decided to switch the bidding for this ultra-rare Dunk from “Buy It Now” to auction; who knows what can happen!
