Originally introduced in 1980, the Nike Mariah was the first shoe to possess a full length air unit and forever changed the world of lightweight running shoes. Currently, the Mariah receives updated technology in the form of Lunar Foam, No Sew construction, and new innovative lightweight materials that make the Lunar Mariah much better than any of the Mariah’s original designers could have imagined. Now, the Nike Lunar Mariah will release in three limited colorways. All of which have a nearly all solid black upper, but each possessing different Lunar Foam cushions. However, the Black/White and Black/Varsity Royal colorways are exclusive to Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer, whilst the Black/Hot Red colorway will be available at Nike Tier Zero accounts. A new Nike Air Max Light hit Nort Berlin in Germany today. The model’s predominantly grey upper is accented by classic red and gold. White mesh accents peek through around the ankle collar and on the toebox. Comfort is furnished by an Air Max bubble that’s located in the heel. Four different colorways have released for the Nike Air Max Light, the only catch is, they’re in Europe! The Nike running shoe has come out in black, white, blue/white, and red/white. The shoe is comprised of leather, suede, plastic, mesh, and rubber to create the ultimate running shoe. Of course the Air Max unit is installed in the midsole for comfort and performance. Mesh is found on the toebox, tongue, and ankle panel for maximized breathability. The first two colorways, which are both accented by auxiliary colors, are more towards the typical running shoe colorway, while the latter two pairs are definitely more on the stylish side. The Nike Running shoe will also be peppering retailers in this delightful sail/grey/pink scheme that’s brought along nicely by a boulce fabric toebox and ankle collar. The AM 90s upper is also comprised of just a hint o’ suede and premium leathers. Underfoot, cushioning is provided by way of a heel embedded pink Air Max unit. Originally released in 1991, the Nike Air Max Classic BW became a favorite of hardcore joggers and marathoners for the Air Max unit embedded in its heel, nylon ankle collar, and mesh toebox and middle panel. The Nike Running product has been reissued on several occasions in past years, and it appears as if the BW will return again in this timeless black/white/red scheme sometime in ‘09.
