For the people left in shock (good or bad), this is an early sample, so the look can change, and the pair shown is actually a grade school (GS) size. Rumors are floating around the the Nike Zoom LeBron 7 will have a Max Lebron VII logo, flywire, and as we can see a visible air sole unit. Two new colorways of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) have just hit some online retailers. The first of the two color schemes is white/university red-metallic silver and is better known as the Ohio State University (OSU) colorway. This pair features a white leather base with red and silver accents as well as a 3M camouflage midsole. The second new colorway is black/white-varsity royal-varsity maize and this pair yields a black leather upper accented by a blue 3M midsole, blue inner lining, and blue laces. Both new colorways of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) are now available at Eastbay.

This past weekend, Lebron James attended the NBA 2009 All Star Weekend in which he gave us a first look at the newest colorway of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6). At that time, we were unsure of the inspiration behind the pair, but after some more detailed pictures, it is quite obvious that this colorway is inspired by the city where James was born—Akron, Ohio. Nike has even gone to the extent of including the name of the street where “the King” grew up, Hickory. Featuring a navy blue rear with white imagery accented by a white toebox, a white swoosh, and a navy blue midsole, this pair has an overall clean and fresh look. Nike has spruced up this colorway by including many gold accents seen throughout the sneaker. An official release date is still under question, but be sure to stay tuned for updates. Via SC.

That’s right ladies and gentleman, the NBA All Star weekend is finally here. NBA All Star weekend provides all hoop fans with a time to watch some of the best basketball players in the world go out and have fun. For this year, Nike has decked out their top athletes with some of the hottest gear on the market. Ranging from Lebron James’ Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) – All Star Game all the way to the eco-friendly Nike Zoom MVP Trash Talk – All Star Game, Nike will definitely be well represented this weekend. A couple other notable sneakers worth checking out are the Nike Huarache ‘09, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, and the Air Jordan CP3 II. The Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) – NYC Taxi was released in limited amounts at certain New York retailers earlier this month and we are now seeing evidence that a couple more retailers have also recieved this limited ZLVI. Inspired by the average taxi cabs in New York which residents see on a daily basis, this pair features a black perforated leather upper with a yellow patent leather band and other yellow accents seen throughout the sneaker. To finish this pair off and give it a fresh look, Nike has included a metallic swoosh, grey outsole, and black/white laces. Earlier today, Kobe Bryant and his fellow Los Angeles Lakers came to Quicken Loans Arena to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Though Kobe Bryant was reported to be ill and needed intravenous fluids at halftime, his Lakers pulled through with a 101-91 victory with notable performances from Odom and Gasol. Though the game was exciting, the true excitement was brought while sneakerheads compared the two supertars’ sneaker choices. Lebron James showed up with a new Fairfax Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6), while Kobe started the game with the Carpe Diem Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) and switched to the Venom KBIV at the quarter break. Even though Bryant’s sneaker switch is quite an interesting topic, most sneakerheads stared in awe at what James was rocking. This is our first look at the Fairfax colorway of the Zoom Lebron VI and it looks quite promising.

A couple days ago, we showcased the Nike Zoom Soldier II (2) inspired by the Summit Lake Hornets, Lebron James’ youth basketball team. We are now getting a first look at a Zoom Lebron VI paying homage to the same children’s recreational basketball team. Featuring a white upper with a black patent leather band and toebox, this pair’s color comes in the form of the energy and purple accents seen throughout the sneaker.
