Kevin Durant spent one year in Texas before testing his talents against NBA-caliber athletes. One year was all he needed. Already tearing it up on the hardwood floor, NBA sophomore Kevin Durant is also making noise in the sneaker world with Nike’s help. After introducing the lengthy baller’s second signature sneaker, the Nike KD2, a pair in a Creamsicle colorway was prepared for him and debuted against the Dallas Mavericks. But unless you’ve been lucky enough to score a pair, then you might not have gotten as good a look at them as you might have liked. Well, now there are detailed shots of this sneaker online that help highlight many of the shoe’s details. For example, on the midfoot strap and just above the midsole you will notice what resembles cement print in the creamsicle color. Kevin Durant has been doing big things for OKC, securing his place in NBA history. Thus, Nike blessed the young star with a special colorway for his second signature shoe. Not since the end of August, when we talked “Velvet Hoops” have we caught wind of any pertinent information regarding Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker line with Nike- the KD. However, that all changes now with a look at his KD2 in a colorway designed to be worn at away games by the young superstar. It comes in a black leather upper with orange, blue and white accents. Moreover, the “kd” logo can be found on the shoe’s strap, while the tongue reads the superstar’s whole name. “Kevin Durant.” For now, know that when this sneaker becomes generally available, it will be affordable- as per KD’s wishes himself.
