As of late, we’ve seen the Nike Hyperdunk silhouette create somewhat of a buzz thanks to news regarding such things as the Hyperdunk 2010. We’ve also seen the silhouette worked in a low-top design for the Los Angeles Lakers’ Lamar Odom. Nike has since decided to also prepare a Nike Hyperdunk low for another huge NBA proponent of low-top sneakers: Steve Nash. Pictured here is a Phoenix Suns away colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk low with such touches as an orange speckled sole and Steve Nash’s signature logo on the heel. The Nike Hyperdunk silhouette is not going to go away quietly. Recently, we showed you a pair of low-top Hyperdunks designed especially for the Los Angeles Lakers big man, Lamar Odom. But Nike is doing more than just producing PEs of the Hyperdunk to keep it seen on the basketball court. Pictured here is a sneak peek at the comet red/white-del sol Hyperdunk 2010, which will hit Nike retailers like Foot Locker in the summer of 2010. You can see that the flywire threading matches the comet red on the upper and, thus, somewhat blends into it. You will also notice a pattern of different shapes along the part of the shoe that stretches from the heel to the ankle support and comes in the “del sol” coloring. What are your initial thoughts on the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 after seeing this preview and the two scans we showed you in December?

To pay homage to the home country of the longtime San Antonio Spur, Manu Ginobili gets another of his own player exclusive Nikes. The Nike Hyperdunk Argentina/Manu Ginobili PE commemorates the Argentinian flag, using an all blue/white colorway along with the sun symbol at the back heel panel. “5″ is stitched at the toe to represent Manu’s number, and his logo is branded at the tongue tag. These are unreleased player exclusives, but you can get your hands on a pair online at Marquee.

Nike’s popular performance basketball shoe, the Nike Hyperdunk, has been upgraded for the start of the new decade with its transformation into the new and improved Nike Hyperdunk 2010. The new model will keep many of our favourite Hyperdunk features, like the Flywire upper, floating counter heel, and dynamic innersleeve, but replace the use of Lunarlite foam with a Phylon midsole and full-length Zoom Air bag. Expected to release in the first half of 2010, stay tuned for more detailed information.

Although we know very little information known about the new Nike Hyperdunk Low models we’ve seen popping up over the last couple of months, the one thing we are counting on is the low-top version of the popular performance sneaker making its way into storefronts by early-mid 2010. Of the many scans and samples spotted, the latest is this low version of the exclusive Kobe Bryant Snake Pool PE Hyperdunk.  No news on any drop dates, but if the release is as limited as its predecessor’s, you might have a tough time getting your hands on a pair. Collectors can try their luck with Marquee Sole’s limited Men’s US 8.5 stock.

2009 was a VERY big year for the Nike Hyperdunk basketball sneaker. From extremely sought after colorways like Eggplant and Metallic Gold to your run-of-the-mill Team colorways, many sneakerheads (including professional NBA basketball players) laced up a pair of Hyperdunks and either put them to the test, rocked them casually, or did both. Building off of this year’s unprecedented success, Nike will be introducing at least three new Hyperdunk colorways in the summer of 2010. However, these will be a low-top version of the Hyperdunk and definitely draw comparisons to Kobe Bryant’s Nike Zoom IV’s. From the pictures of these Nike Hyperdunk Low’s, you can see that white and grey is used a lot, with two pairs being more strongly accented with green and blue, respectively.
