The Nike Hypermax is the latest Flywire foray from the Nike Basketball camp. The Hypermax is augmented in the cushioning department by a full-length Air Max sole unit. Combine that with a sturdy ankle strap, reinforced ankle collar, and Flywire cointainment technology, and the Hypermax seems perfectly suited for even the most tenacious lane violators. The shoe will hit in a bevy of team colorways, including the white/orange color scheme pictured above and after the jump. To celebrate the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the Chinese National Men’s basketball team, Nike crafted two unique pairs of the Nike Hyperdunk Mid for the country. One pair, a red/black/gold affair, was sported exclusively by forward Yi Jianling (New Jersey Nets), while his teammates wore a red/black/yellow pair. The latter was produced in a limited format for the royal exclusivity of Footlocker’s House of Hoops but now is receiving a second breath of life through the standard Footlocker and catalog retailer Eastbay. It appears as if Wausau, Wisconsin-based Eastbay has tapped into Nike’s Special Make-Up division, as they are now carrying two player exclusive models of the Nike Air Max Bizness. More specifically, the company now has the white/deep forest/red version created for Bucks wingman Richard Jefferson and black/varsity royal/orange colorway for Knickerbockers forward Zach Randolph available for pre-order. From a technological standpoint, the Bizness is chock full of sensory goodies—underfoot, the shoe incorporates a full-length Phylon midsole, that when coupled with a Max Air-Sole out back and Zoom Air in the forefoot, provides prodigious cushioning and maximum durability.
