After previewing the Nike Big Nike dedicated to the LBC, we have just uncovered the shoe’s release date. The Nike Big Nike Long Beach, which rocks a sweet black/white/purple colorway, is set to release tomorrow, September 26th, at select Nike retailers. The shoe features a classic LBC logo on the tongue tag to go along with the LBC printed on the back. You can also find a matching fitted to complete the outfit. Today, we have a small preview of a very promising shoe for the Cali-heads out there. Nike is releasing a Nike Big Nike High for the sake of LBC a.k.a. Long Beach. This Big Nike features a clean white/black/purple colorway, with a white leather base which sports a perforated diamond design on the side. Black and purple patent leather panels nicely contrast the white upper, along with a white midsole and purple outsole. “LBC” is printed on the back in black bold letters, replacing the Nike logo. And this time is no different concerning the Nike Big Nike “Eggplant.” We actually now have word that this shoe, which has driven many crazy in anticipation over its resemblance to the Nike Eggplant Foamposite, will release at House of Hoops locations nationwide on Wednesday September 23, 2009- as in TOMORROW, people! Just like the recent release of the Nike Hyperdunk, Nike is taking the classic Eggplant colorway from the Nike Flightposite and putting it on the Nike Big Nike. The Big Nike features the eggplant leather upper, with a mere black stitched outline of the swoosh. It comes complete with a black midsole to match the black “NIKE” print on the heel, as well as the inner lining and lace area. To give the shoe some extra flavor, it has a grey speckled outsole to match the concrete we walk on. This shoe releases this month so be sure to get your own pair soon.

The Nike Sportswear division recently unveiled this floral print Nike Big Nike. The shoe features a violet purple base accented by a vivid pink outsole and ankle collar. The Swoosh is white and the strings are pink, too. It’s safe to assume that these Big Nikes are a petite feet ladies only exclusive. A vintage-inspired floral print decorates the shoe’s premium leather overlays. Little is know about the Nike Sportswear Big Nike “Floral”, but we’ll be sure to update when more conclusive information comes to light.

The identical relative of the Nike Dunk has come up with another colorway set for release this month. The Nike Big Nike comes in a white/pure purple colorway for all the purple lovers. The hightop shoe features a purple leather toebox, white swoosh, white midsole, purple outsole, and of course the big, bold “NIKE” in purple on the white back heel panel. This is a very clean and simple shoe so if you’re in need of a nice pair of purple sneakers, then go to your local Nike retailer and be ready to drop $80 plus tax.

This past weekend X-Men Origins: Wolverine hit theaters, and was a huge success. To add on to the excitement, Nike releases a X-Men Pack which consists of a Nike Big Nike and a Nike Air Max 95. The Big Nike is modeled after Wolverine’s classic costume, consisting of yellow, black, blue, and red. On the side paneling, heel and tongue, you can see slash designs to symbolize Wolverine’s claws doing some damage. The Air Maxes are designed after Wolverine’s brother, the evil Sabretooth.
