The Nike Big Nike has made a ravenous comeback in 2009. Part of the reason is the fact that the Nike team is releasing the silhouette in a lot of attractive materials and colorways. A pair of the Nike Big Nike sporting black elephant print is a wonderful example of how Nike is getting people on board of the Nike Big Nike bandwagon. Now, another pair of the Nike Big Nike shoe is preparing for a Black Friday release. Pictured here is the shoe in a black/metallic silver colorway, which is bound to remind many of us of the Oakland Raiders colors. Although no official ties exist between the team and this sneaker release, it is somewhat ironic that the shoe drop in this colorway the day after the Raiders play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day. Again, these will be releasing on Friday November 27, 2009 from House of Hoops locations nationwide. How many of you hope to snag a pair?

Continuing with their series of Spike Lee tribute models, Nike pays homage to the influential director with a new colorway of the Nike Big Nike Low. The model features a grey and black upper, with subtle embossing on the mid-panel, with red as an accent color on the laces and Swoosh. Like most other models in the collection, the shoe presents Lee’s characteristic square glasses through an embroidered tongue tag. Luxury brands are definitely influencing the shoe game more than ever, especially with the Nike Dunk High Supreme Spark in the iconic Gucci colorway. The Nike Big Nike Low follows in its footsteps with a release in a green/black-team red colorway. The lowtop shoe uses a green and black leather upper with a team red patent leather swoosh. The Gucci colorway is offset by a white midsole and white laces, along with a black outsole to make it nice and simple. Nothing gaudy about this release, just classic luxury style. Keep watch as this shoe is expected to release for the Nike Holiday 2009 season.

It’s been a while since the last Nike Big Nike surfaced, so it’s pleasant to see a new pack of Nike Big Nike Low’s for retail. The Nike Terminator-like/Nike Dunk-like shoe comes in four different colorways: blue, orange, white, and black. All four shoes have white midsoles and soles, and have the same Japanese writing on the back heel. Each shoe has a suede toe area and nylon upper, with more Japanese writing on the tongue tag. Although these are much like dunks in every way, this pack is still pretty clean.
