Nike Air Flight Condor - Black / Varsity Red / White

Nike is bringing 2009 to the past with the Nike Air Flight Condor, a shoe that definitely reads classic. The Nike Air Flight Condor comes in a black/varsity red/white colorway, and takes influence from the Air Jordan IV (4), as well as other Nike Air Flight’s. The upper is made of black leather and patent leather, along with a grey safari print toe area. The shoe has a white midsole and red sole to offset the black upper, and the Air Flight signature is etched in red on the tongue. This shoe is perfect for OG lovers who don’t love the OG price, and is available on Finishline for $88.

Nike Zoom Fun Police - Los Angeles Lakers

Here’s a sneak peek at the Nike Zoom Fun Police, but with an awesome twist: they commemorate the Los Angeles Lakers! That’s right, these Nike basketball shoes feature a purple/yellow colorway with a black base to match with those #24 jerseys. The shoe uses a black suede upper contrasted by a purple midsole on top of a black sole. Yellow accents are found on the laces and swoosh with the Fun Police logo on the back ankle tab as always. Although these might not see the light of day for shoe collectors, these babies are fine just being eye-gazers.

Nike Zoom Hustle

As a part of Nike’s “Refresh” regime, Nike is releasing the Nike Zoom Hustle, which is a “refreshed” version of the Nike Hyperflight. This black colorway shoe has the same technology as the Hyperflight’s, but with a re-vamped design. The shoe uses an all-black patent leather upper with a black sole to give that black on black look. The tongue reads “FRESH” with visual emphasis on the letters “RE” to accentuate the “Refresh” line. These are set to drop fall 2009 so be on the lookout at Footlocker when October or November come around.

Nike Air Hoop Structure - Grey / Metallic Silver / White

After checking out the Nike 2009 Upcoming Releases Preview we gave a little while ago, many sneakerheads were highly impressed to see a hybrid that most were fond of. That hybrid model was the Nike Air Hoop Structure which takes key components of the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 and a currently unknown Nike Basketball product and meshes them together to create a clean, fresh, and unique basketball sneaker which will surely be functional on the hardwood while still looking great off the courts. Though Jordan Brand is not involved in this hybrid, elements of the Air Jordan VI (6) can be seen via the midsole and collar cushion. The Nike Air Hoop Structure – Grey/Metallic Silver/White is set to release in November 2009. Via Weekly Drop / Footlocker.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) - Gold Medal

After seeing multiple variations of the Nike Zoom Kobe Iv (4) commemorating different occasions, this Nike Zoom Kobe IV is certainly special not only to us, but to the signature man himself. The ZK4 Gold Medal edition commemorates #10 of the U.S.A. Men’s Olympic Basketball team, who took the gold this past summer of 2008. Thus, the idea for this gold shoe was born. The shoe features the team colors of white, blue, and red o nthe side panel, tongue, and laces, and is contrasted by the gold on the toe area and heel. The trademark Kobe symbol is found on the tongue with “10″ embedded on the back ankle tab and a gold medal printed on the insole. These shoes are great for any baller or collector, so look out for these golden babies.

Nike Hyperize - Billy Hoyle

We recently featured a Nike Basketball Fall/Winter 2009 Preview which included some upcoming colorways of Nike Basketball’s latest sneaker, the Nike Hyperize, which has already been given the nickname Hyperdunk 2.0. This pair of the Hyperize is inspired by Billy Hoyle’s role in the 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump. Featuring a white upper with black, blue, and volt accents, this pair yields an overall clean and fresh colorway that is not too crazy or over the top. Though the colors are fresh, the most interesting aspect of this sneaker is most definitely the tongue tag which displays one of the more famous quotes from the aforementioned film, “I’M IN THE F*#@!NG ZONE!”. The “Billy Hoyle” Nike Hyperize is set to release in the upcoming months.
