The Nike Air Zoom Toki has been growing in popularity because of a combination of colorways and its lifestyle design. Last month, we reported on a pair of the Nike Air Zoom Toki that was being readied for release in a medium grey/blue sapphire-white colorway. For those of you who took such news and images as a mere tease, we now have great news. Nike has begun to make this medium grey/blue sapphire-white Nike Air Zoom Toki available for purchase from select Nike retailers including New York City’s very own 21 Mercer Street location. With many people finding themselves liking this Nike silhouette despite not owning many- if any- pairs, this might be just the right pair to help kickstart your Nike Air Zoom Toki collection with.

Last year, we saw the Nike Air Zoom Toki’s popularity grow rather quickly. Two big reasons for this development were the silhouette’s sleek, slightly less casual look and the colorways it was released in. In mid-December we saw a pair in obsidian/pink that was looked favorably upon. Now we’d like to show you high resolution images of a new colorway, coming this time in smooth, medium grey suede/sapphire blue-white. Last we reported on the Nike Air Zoom Toki it was being worked on with an “oiled leather” upper. And now Nike is once again doing its thing with this lifestyle footwear design. Pictured here is another Nike Air Zoom Toki ND sporting a predominantly obsidian suede upper, with a pink stripe just below the upper that reaches around the entire shoe and a pink Nike logo on the tongue. While the shoe laces come in obsidian as well, the sole comes in traditional all-white. White can also be seen on the eyelets and lining of the shoe laces area. While the Nike Blazer has been making quite the stir this year, the Zoom Toki has held more mystique surrounding it. However, both of these Nike silhouettes are about to release in similar executions this latter part of the year. Both pairs of Nike sneakers pictured here have been made with premium oiled leather, sporting brown uppers and completely white soles. These have begun hitting select Nike retailers already, so check-in with your Nike retailer for word on when these will hit a store near you.

The Nike Air Zoom Toki seems to be a silhouette built for quickstrikes, as its frame is definitely one-of-a-kind. The Nike Air Zoom Toki Quickstrike comes in a rustic/rustic-sail colorway. The shoe uses a rustic premium leather upper with a perforated swoosh; the leather shows wear as the shoe is worn, giving it a clean yet worn look. The rustic upper sits on a white midsole to match the white inner lining. The shoe is available now online for about $105.

It’s about time Nike showed some love to the Nike Air Zoom Toki model, making it a sweet quickstrike this time around. This Nike Air Zoom Toki Quickstrike uses a black suede upper with black nubuck accents on the swoosh and heel panel. The inner lining is made of black mesh to match the black vulcanized midsole, which features a red streak across its plane. This is a great choice for a casual shoe, and a nice addition to any quickstrike collection. But remember, given its quickstrike status, they’ll be gone fast this September.
