Two spring seasons ago, Nike directly paid homage to the world class tennis player John McEnroe with a black Zoom Tennis Trainer. Now, after seeing athletes like Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson get the Nike Air Trainer 1 treatment, Nike is set to remind us that “Mac (also) Knows.” Pictured here is a Nike Air Trainer 1 made up in a mostly light grey/white/black colorway with tennis ball green accents on places such as the Nike swoosh’s outline and the shoe’s insole. This pair will also release as early as next week, along with the “Bo Knows” release. This almost BEGS the question- which Nike Air Trainer 1 “knows” better than the other what the sneakerheads will gravitate towards? Is either colorway or the other a great consolation prize?
