We showed you the Air Maxim 1+ in Blue Spark, and now a subtle colorway is available in Velvet Brown. The Nike Air Maxim 1+ Velvet Brown utilizes tonal brown, but to add a little bit of flavor Nike placed purple and yellow to the sole. The mid-panels will also use Flywire technology. The Nike Air Maxim 1 is making a return after a brief stint away. This time, the Air Maxim 1 will come back in a Blue Spark colorway. While the uppers have Spark Blue (mixed with a few different shades of blue) the sole brings in yellow and black. Expected release date is Fall 2011, but if you can’t wait that long Kicks-Crew has some sizes.

As some of you may know, the Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch is a spin off the original Air Maxim 1, while adding three layers of mesh throughout the sneakers. One pair that was scrapped from an official release features Black and Varsity Maize, resembling the LIVESTRONG colorway. Featuring Varsity Maize on the midsole, laces and Nike log, while black works its way through the rest of the shoes. The Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch Black/Varsity Maize in a size 9, which is a sample pair, is available now from dballaholic on eBay.

The Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1 collaboration model has finally hit select sneaker boutiques around the country, after months of serious anticipation. Featuring a speckled midsole, matching bordered laces, and bold tongue graphics, the model is really completed by the subtle contrast stitching and black-on-black Swoosh embossing. The release goes hand in hand with a series of ironic “The Lovely Underachieving Loners” jackets and shirts designed by the Dutch collaborator. Almost exactly a month ago, we reported on the Nike Air Maxim Trainer 1 in a grey-black/white/chlorophyll colorway. It should be known by now that they love their running shoes in Europe, and now a certain online retailer proves it yet again by making this shoe available for pre-order. Nearly a month ago we previewed for you a black/multicolored Air Maxim 1 that was the result of a collaboration between Nike and the world-famous Parra, an artist from out of Holland. As you should be used to by now, SneakerFiles has some follow-up news as to this shoe’s availability. Certain online retailers overseas are offering the opportunity to pre-order this sleek Nike Air Maxim 1 for approximately $155, with an approximate shipping date of October 1st. For those of you worried about being able to score or even find a pair, this might be the perfect route for you. How do you feel about these one month later? Apart from retro-ing Nike classics from the 80′s and 90′s, Nike has not only brought back the Nike Air Max 1, but added its latest shoe technology to create the Nike Air Maxim 1 ND. This time around, the Air Maxim 1 comes in two colorways: red/white and blue/white. The Maxim’s resemble the Nike Air Max 1 in every way, from fit to form, except for the side panel, which features Nike’s Flywire technology. The Flywire side panel features a printed swoosh as opposed to a typical suede leather swoosh in the respective colors. Both shoes have white midsoles and black outsoles to finish off these Air Maxes. Available this July.
