There’s nothing light about the latest releases for the Nike Air Max Light. The Nike Air Max Light comes in two heavy colorways: black/dark grey/max orange and dark grey/metallic silver/orange. The Air Max Light features a mesh upper, with black and grey nubuck material on the first pair, and metallic silver leather at the toe and swoosh for the other. The tongue tag sports the Nike Air Max Light logo, making these runners nice fits for any occasion. These are available now online for about $140 each.

As many of you may or may not know, Nike releases plenty of sneakers- especially running shoes- throughout different European countries that never see a stateside release. Sometimes these releases just take a little longer to reach the Nike retailers in the U.S. Whatever the case may be with this shoe- it is sure to at least catch the attention of many. Just earlier we saw a pair of Nike Air Max Light’s sporting Medium Green that pleased at least some of you sneakerheads out there. Nike has used its Fall/Winter 2009 collection to add another Nike Air Max Light into the fold. The one pictured here also sports a predominantly grey base, but has red accents such as on the Nike swoosh, as well as blue accents such as toward the top of the toe box. Because Nike is always changing its mind, many fans of this shoe and colorway could very well opt to jump on this release through online Nike retailers. We don’t blame you. The Nike Air Max Light is such a classic silhouette originally released in the late 1980’s that some times all it takes is adding a new twist to it for sneakerheads to get excited over. Earlier this year that twist came in the form of “cracked leather.” This time, it comes in the form of a combination of heralded “flint grey” coloring with medium green accents that stand out against the white and grey tones. After the release of the Nike Air Max Light Tecmo Bowl, it’s nice to see a clean and elegant pair of Air Max Lights. This time, Nike gave the Air Max Light a white/metro grey-cherrywood red colorway, but with a cracking twist. The white leather upper is contrasted by a metro grey cracked leather panel, as  you can see in the pictures. With a matching silky inner lining, this shoe not only feels comfortable, but looks it as well. It’s available now online for $163.

2009 has been a good year for Bo Jackson, as yet another Nike model honoring the multi-sport athlete has hit the web. In this stage of his lengthy homage, the Nike Air Max Light gets taken for a spin, channeling Bo’s days in the MLB. The Kansas City Royals inspired colorway features the standard pixelated Jackson tongue-tag, but lacks the heavy pixel-ridden upper, the graphic building block subtly retreating to light accent work on the blue toe and heel sections. The infrared sensors are beaming out of control with Nike’s latest Nike Air Max Light release. The shoe comes in the classic infrared colorway made famous by the Nike Air Max 90 model. The Air Max Light carries all the same elements of the infrared colorway, including a white midsole, dark grey swoosh, neutral grey suede panels, and max orange textile panels to give the shoe the name infrared. With the release of a new colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 as we showed you earlier, Nike is showing love for the Air Max collection, especially with a new colorway for the Nike Air Max Light. This time, the shoe comes in a white/flint grey-green colorway that is familiar with older Air Maxes. The shoe combines suede, mesh, and leather to contrast the white midsole with a green Air Max unit. The swoosh is made of flint grey suede and the outsole is a combination of green and black. This clean shoe is available overseas for about $174.
