For this month’s Nike Air Force 1 releases, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 comes in an obsidian/white colorway. This obsidian leather upper shoe is matched by an obsidian colored midsole with white contrast stitching and “AIR” print. The white outsole goes well with this dark shoe, which also features white on the back ankle panel and laces. This AF1 is pretty simple yet a great pick for any blue shoe fan, and is available now for $88.

In 1996 a mid-top Air Force 1 smoothly grouped a lightbone color with a smoke color that resulted in a rather fresh Air Force 1. More than ten years later, Nike is once again using the lightbone color- this time on the Air Force 1 Low. This time, the lightbone coloring fills out the shoe’s upper, with a white midsole, bubble gum outsole, and anthracite accents finishing it all off. Limited quantities are now available for purchase at all four House of Hoops. For how many of you is this a must cop?

As part of Nike’s Refresh initiative, Nike has given the Nike Air Force 1 a fresh idea. This AF1 comes in a matte silver/white-black colorway, with matte silver leather as the upper. A white leather swoosh contrasts the toned down grey, and best of all, the shoe features a gradient perforation effect, with the perforations in the shoe expanding towards the heel. also, the outsole is translucent, with “Be True” showcased in it to complete this shoe. It is set to release January 2010 as part of a four pack of shoes: two lows and two highs.

Last year, the world famous Nike brand celebrated three storied NCAA basketball programs with the release of the Dunk Rivalry Pack. In said pack, three different colorways were beautifully executed to pay homage to Big East powerhouses Georgetown & Syracuse as well as the ACC’s monster UNC squad. Thanks to fellow sneaker aficionados, speculation can now begin to run rampant regarding what seems to be Nike’s next “rivarly” collection.

It seems as though, this time around, Nike has in mind to use the world-renowned Nike Air Force 1 as well as the Nike Dunk to celebrate a different rivalry. From what we can tell so far, each shoe in the collection will sport some amount of snake skin, represent either the East or West (as represented on the tongue), and celebrate a specific sport (as represented through the head of a cartoon character that can be found inside each shoe). There are also rumors that certain big-name DJ’s like Clark Kent and sneaker icons like Eddie Cruz will have their input on any number of shoes that release as a part of what seems to shaping up as an “East vs. West Rivalry Pack.” We will make sure to update the world as more information becomes available. This past Spring we caught news of a very well-executed Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Max Air that paid homage to the athletic and physical anomaly that is Lebron James. The Nike House of Hoops now has a new Air Force 1 Supreme Max Air for sale. This release is revered for the attention to detail sure to attract sneaker fanatics like myself, who notice the “little things.” The model pictured here is actually made up of a completely reflective 3M material upper, as well as visible air unit on the heel and translucent midsole atop a black outsole. Be sure to check-in with your local House of Hoops, as these should be available today. For how long they’ll be available, however, is a different issue.

Just because so much attention is being paid to the Nike Air Force 1 “Microphone,” does not mean that Nike is by any means content. In fact, Nike is showing the “Grade Schoolers” some love with this very sleek Nike Air Force 1 Lo. This pair of Force’s sports black nubuck material in conjunction with black tumbled leather, a white Nike check, and a black/white/grey camouflage pattern on the entire outsole. This seamlessly executed colorway will most likely have some wishing either that Nike would release these in adult sizes or that they could fit into a size 7 or smaller. Regardless, certain Nike retailers are beginning to receive this pair of GS Nike Air Force 1 Lo’s as well as eBay sellers. Nike and Futura team up again to present us with four new models of the legendary Nike Air Force One. Featuring two low-top and two high-top colorways, all shoes in the “True Pack” incorporate a graffiti style “True” logo visible through translucent outsoles. Other traits the four models share include a customary Futura tongue tab and perforated leather uppers. You can expect this product of yet another Futura collaboration to hit select Nike accounts in early 2010.
