Fresh from Nike Sportswear is a new drop of the classic Air Flight 89 in a familiar colorway.

With a predominately white leather upper, this rocks hits of true blue on the lining, Swoosh, “Flight” branding, piping, midsole and outsole while the tongue “Air” branding features the lone hit of red.

Perhaps as an early Christmas gift to sneakerheads who are particularly in love with OG Nike basketball silhouettes, the brand recently prepared a Nike Air Flight Maestro in what seems like it would go well with a home Chicago Bulls jersey- be it of Derrick Rose or His Airness himself. To keep today’s youth pure, Nike has released the Nike Air Flight 89 GS in an all-white colorway. The Nike Air Flight 89 GS uses an all-white leather upper, midsole, and outsole. Everything on this shoe is white, from the stitching to the insole. This definitely gives kids a clean pair of kicks while carrying that old Nike flavor. The shoe is available now overseas for about $113.

Nike has released countless colorways of the Nike Air Flight 89 over the years and most have sold extremely well, but others have fallen under the radar and have gone unnoticed by many sneakerheads. This pair has not been given much attention to as of late due to the simplistic colorway of white and black. What may not immediately be noticed on this pair is the fact that the colorway is simple, but the materials used are very diverse and unique.
