Derek Jeter is no stranger to practically anyone. Whether you follow Baseball or not, you’ve heard of him and his legendary status. And to add to that status, Jeter is 3 hits away from the 3,000 Hit Club mark. Impressive? Indeed. Derek Jeter will be the only Yankee to do so and will be the 28th player in MLB history to reach this milestone achievement.

To commemorate this event for his 3000th hit, Jordan Brand is set for him to wear a special edition pair of Jordan Jeter Cut cleats for that exact moment. This cleat features a black upper, gold cleat plate bottoms, and gold accents. Along with this special make-up, Jeter will also be wearing matching batting gloves for that 3000th hit.

The inside of the cleat will also feature a rare piece of documentation that skyrocketed his career – the mock contract that his dad drafted as day before his first  High School game, detailing his goal to become a better ball player and a better person. This document, along with a signature from Jeter and the words “I agree”, is laid out on the insoles and sockliner.

Jordan Brand will also be giving Jeter his own special PE of the regular Jeter Cut to pay homage to Kalamazoo High School. This Jeter Cut features a burgundy upper, gold accents and ice bottoms.

Both sneakers will be given to him in a commemorative box as he reaches the pinnacle of his career. These are one of one, but you can share the moment by purchasing a milestone teeshirt in the New york Yankee colorway.

When trying to figure out to whom the player exclusive New York Yankee Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs were given to, we should have automatically thought that Spike Lee would have snagged a pair for himself, being a die hard New York athletics fan and all. Thus, to show his NBA team some love in sunny Los Angeles, the acclaimed director bust out his pair of player exclusive ‘Brons along with a matching navy Yankees blazer and Yankees Champion hat.

And then there were twenty seven. You all saw or heard that the New York Yankees have won their 27th World Series title. So Nike decided to continue to show love for the team with a special Nike LeBron shoe. It started with the Nike Zoom LeBron V, giving the shoe a white/navy colorway. Now, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) gets the same treatment. The 7′s follow the same design as the white/navy-red pair, except this shoe features a custom toe design on each foot; “27″ on the right foot and “New York” on the left in gold. These babies were produced in a small quantity of 27 pairs for friends and family, including the team itself. Let us know what you think of these bad boys as they will most likely never touch your feet.

“I want to thank Good Lord for making me a Yankee,” said Joe Dimaggio. Such is true, as the whole New York Yankees team received exclusive Nike Air Trainer 1s in a sweet NY Yankees colorway. The Nike Air Trainer 1 is decked out in Yankee blue at the toebox and flywire panel. White contrasts the dark blue at the toe, swoosh, and inner lining. New York makes its name at the back heel and tongue tag. The insole commemorates the retired numbers of the Yankee greats. There is no doubt that New York has played an important role to the decision of the colors of new Nike models and with the Los Angeles location of the House of Hoops opening, they too have saw L.A based sneakers.
