The time has come ladies and gentleman. After weeks of teaser pics, new images, and closer looks of the ‘New York Knicks’ Spizikes as worn by Spike Lee, we now have official release date information from Jordan Brand.

On November 5, 2011 the Blue Ribbon/Orange Flash–Black–White and Orange Flash/Blue Ribbon–Black–White will both release on the same day at Jordan retailers for a retail price of $175. Be sure to check your local store for availability now as these will sell out fast.

Hip-Hop Icon and filmmaking extraordinare Spike Lee was seen sporting this promotional version of his Shelleyian creation, the Jordan Spizike. The white upper is accented by blue/orange cement and an orange midsole, which of course, compliments the superfan’s outfit excellently. If the Knicks spent as much time finding a cohesive group of players as Lee does concoting his attire, the beleaguered squad just might make the playoffs. (Who am I kidding?!) Image via Yahoo Sports

With Adidas lining up an NBA Attitude High High package, this New York Knicks model has just been released. Featuring the traditional running white, orange and collegiate blue color-way, this Attitude High lacks the Knicks logo, but screams New York. As for the aesthetics of the sneakers, a white base is hit with a blue mid-sole and logo accented by orange. However, release is a long ways away, January 2nd, 2009 is the official date.
