Throughout the course of the 2006-2007 NBA season, Hornets guard Chris Paul was seen a few times, rocking these Air Jordan VIII (8) Player Exclusives, taylor made to match his on-court swag.

This Air Jordan VIII set features 2 pairs. The home version sports an all leather white upper, wrapped in grey 3M material on the heel. The colorway suites the Hornets with teal and maize splashed through out the sneaker with his “CP3″ moniker on the lateral. The soft inner booty is lined with a funky abstract design to suit New Orleans flavors.

The away version takes design cues from the Air Jordan VIII “Playoff” with a nubuck upper, playoff patterned heel panel, and teal and maize through out with that same “CP3″ badging. These are probably the only fresh pair out there, so enjoy the images while you can.

Emeka Okafor has been a solid and consistent asset to the New Orleans Hornets, with constant blocks, rebounds, dunks, and the list goes on. That’s why Nike blessed the big man with his own player exclusive Nike Hypermax, which comes in home and away colorways. To match the Hornets uniform, the shoes follow a purple/teal colorway, using white and black as the base on each shoe, respectively. “The Pick 50″ is stitched at the back heel panel to commemorate #50 of the Hornets and how they really scored bigtime with Okafor’s signing. Be sure to watch out Chukwuemeka on the court with these bad babies soon.

It is highly unlikely that Chris Paul would be traded in the near future to a team like the Chicago Bulls or Portland Trail Blazers, but this latest Air Jordan CP3 II would be a perfect match. The sneakers consist of a black nubuck upper with red stitching on the upper. Red can also be found on the midsole, inner lining and on the Mardi Gras print located at the back heel. Check with your local Air Jordan retailer for this pair of CP3 IIs as they have just dropped. More non-New Orleans Hornets colorways of the CP3 II are scheduled to release in May.
